Phenomenal clutch lift. He was trailing by 12kg and missed his 2nd CJ at 211kg, so to lay it all the line and emerge victorious is just astounding. This is the stuff of legends and fairy tales. Amazing.

He's a lot like Zhan Xugang. It's not unusual for squat jerkers to be able to overhead squat more than they can front squat. They can take whatever's needed to win provided they can clean it and they are not out in front or behind on the jerk.

@@puppy8125 For the most part yes. His stability in the catch was a big issue for a while and is still probably the weakest part of his skillset, though he's a lot improved. I know an elbow injury in the past probably played a part. He's cleaned absolutely absurd weight with ease recently, like 236 kg in his showdown with Moradi. The clean really didn't look that hard, he just couldn't stabilize the jerk

If I clean that wide my shoulders and elbows start to ache like hell. So I have to adjust my grip after the clean to do a squat jerk. Not enough shoulder mobility in the world to do a squat jerk with a narrow grip.
