Thy Light never fails to bring comfort during the darkest of times...when no grace is found.

I've seen death, found my closest friend dead in a room. Felt lose, heart ache, heart break. So much of the time it seems there's nothing out there but emptiness. Faced death and the only thing that kept me away was beautiful dsbm. Without music like this I'd be long gone. Maybe the suffering is good, maybe I can make it pleasure.

Dsbm helps in a depressive state of mind, cause its created by i think, depressed people. the most important thing i learned is to accept depression like a personal trait, i have an exceptional negative and nihilistic worldview i hear from my close ones, and i have accepted it. is it good for me? maybe not. cant really explain, but substance abuse keeps me around for the people who seems to value my existance more than myself. but its not easy to live for others, or to stay clean for others. now im almost 30 years old, and been in therapy for the last ten years. i guess what i have to say, is that it is Not a negative trait to have depressive thoughts, but a logical step in evolution that some of us question our existance without using simple explanations like, i live to reproduce, while there is overpopulation, or dont even think about it. i hope you get what i mean. its not a weakness in my opinion, but a "positive" thing cause you can think about reality. sorry if it seems a bit vague, but im not sober at the moment. i find it hard to express my thoughts, espesially in a foreign language. im from holland thats why. good luck mate!

This band is pure gold.

you may mean well, but sometimes problems take time to deal with. And while it might be nice to think we can change our state of being at the snap of our fingers, its usually much more difficult.

the only lyrics sound like roars but damn they are so emotional and powerful

Some pieces of this song reminds me of moonlight sonata from Beethoven.

it can be, but its not restricted to only paganism. you can have nazi black metal, suicidal themes in black metal, black metal with no lyrical themes at all. Would be like assuming the only types of screaming is angry screaming. When you could just as easily scream for joy, help, etc.
