I've just recently discovered Thy Catafalque and they quickly became one of my three favourite artists! I've binged the entire discography in one day and put almost every damn song they made into my playlist. I'm very glad for Hungary to be home to such a talented and refined musician. Imádom hogy az album után hol nagyon volt az énekek és "folkiness" (nem tudom hogyan azt mondani magyarul),most elment Tamás ez az irányba eléggé különböző,hol az énekek ritkak vannak és a fogalmazások sokkal több nyersok. Nagyon szerettem Naiv de nem elvártam a Vadak-on ilyen a gyors változás hol ugyanabban az időben sok a részek vannak megtartva az előzők albumok. Gondolok hogy az énekekel olyan szűkös azok kapnak sokkal több jelentőséget. Ez az album nagyon meglepő,izgalmas és teljesen gyönyörű. Lengyelországból üdvözlések!

Tamas Katai is amazing!! He is a multi instrumentalist and breaks all the metal and music boundaries. In his music you can find Black Metal, heavy metal, thrash, Doom, folk, classic music, ambient and also some arabian derbake in this álbum. All fitting perfectly. This is insane! He never desappoint us !!!!

Elképesztő, nehezen találok rá szavakat. Eddig is abszolút kedvenc volt a TC, de ez az album ismét egy új szintre emelt mindent, egyik percben abszolút káosz, később pedig a legcsodásabb melódiák és legkellemesebb hangok, lehengerlő és katartikus minden egyes másodperce.

omg, so excited to listen to a new TC record. I wasn't even aware this was coming out. A few minutes in and I'm already sold. Tamás Kátai is a musical genius.

I swear, Tamás takes you on an unknown journey in every album. One album could be black metal related, the next could be doom metal and then other lighter rock with so much ambience in it. Its so strange and yet satisfying.

Choosing the TC album for today is like opening a wardrobe and pick totally different clothes, which will always match each other and create a unique look. Seriously, in every TC album there are so different genres and approaches but they are always perceived as one "look"! Thanks for another great work, Thy Catafalque!

But true what is true, they both unique in their own way, doesn't really need to mix it to the topic :) (funfact: Igorrr came in picture in job in workshop, music played by youtube and autoplay when at point its started to play Igorrr (maybe we started from TC? I'm not sure) it was an instant hit for me and one of my coworker too :) )

WOW , I just heard this for the first time today. Dordedduh blew me away two weeks ago & now I think I have another Album of the year contender !! well done , bloody brilliant, mindscapingly creative and beautiful writing. Im about to become a fan !!

I spent several hours trawling through The Algorithm's discography trying to find the drop at 1:28 before giving up and listening to other things until I finally rediscovered it here. Thy Catafalque and The Algorithm are both very highly energetic in their music.

It took me a while to get around to listening to this.. man this album has everything, I listened to all of it while doing some work and immediately had to repeat it because there's so much going on, I wanted to take it in again. To me it's his best album yet, and that's impressive for an artist to keep evolving and getting better 10 albums in, and still make an album where every song is different.

The description sums this up eccellently, perfect album, so relaxed and well timed. Their Zapor track from their 2004 album has a special place in my life; I wrote a computer game (still not complete after starting in 2009) - I put Zapor in my game and listened to it a lot beta testing; not commercial game - but hope it will be one day. All artists in game (over 100 of them) are credited 100% for their excellent music. Brill work Thy Catafalque, "mellowly mesmerizing metal", worth buying.

14:37 Holy shit, I can't believe my ears that there is a breakdown in a Thy Catafalque song. And a nasty heavy one too, with the signature TC-sound, fits perfectly!

Tudom, elcsépelt hasonlat, de ez az album tényleg egy utazás volt.. az összes szám olyan atmoszférát teremt amit ritkán érezni máshol mint Kátai zenéiben. Álomszerűen gyönyörű, és mégis vad (nem tagadja meg a címét :D), szóval szerintem tökéletes. Talán az energiamegmaradás törvénye a kedvencem...alig várom a koncertet majd Augusztusban!

This heaviness feels so good after "Naiv". I mean the heavier parts. After only 5 tracks I know that I will love this album.

I was all but resigned to never hearing Tamas really dial up the heaviness or write a long epic again, and was honestly fine with that because both Geometria and Naiv were really good takes on the softer style. And yet here we are, with an album that's the heaviest thing he's written since Meta and still finds time to be super folky in places like the preceding two albums as well. It's the absolute best of both worlds.

wowsers, was a big fan of Naiv, also some parts of Geometria and Meta, but this combines all the elements I love (electronic, heavy metal, folk influences) into one big whole! Great album once again!

Én is csöndben ültem utána. Első hallgatásra lejött, hogy miről szól a dal, huszonéves egyetemistaként ennél aktuálisabb nem is lehetne ez a menni-maradni kérdéskör. Túlságosan otthonosak ezek a kupolák, annak ellenére, hogy próbálnak kilökni belőle. Főleg ezzel a Szózat áthallással. Üt.

Az eddig kijött három dal mind óriási volt, az viszont örömteli meglepetés, hogy az album további részei jelentős mennyiségű, ízléses zúzást tartalmaznak :) Érdekes, hogy emellett rengeteg érzet visszaköszön a Neolunar projekt hangzásából is, plusz ugye a Zúzmara, amit már 15 éve is nagyon szerettem, de így, női vokállal vált tökéletessé. Fura, de nekem a Sgúrr óta minden második Thy Catafalque album jön be igazán (Metát és Naivot is szerettem, csak kevesebbet pörgettem) és a Vadak most szépen beillik a sormintába, mert ez megint nagyon tetszik.

Zseniális!
