** The reason for the AC/DC covers is that I'm really getting into AC/DC again lately. My best friend loves them and we go to see a tribute band called Back in Black every so often and have a lot of fun. They're really great and always get me in the mood for more. I wanted to do thunderstruck though because of the technique involved to play it. I know what you're probably thinking- it's boring and easy. Why would you practice with it? Well, besides it being a great song, I'm working on using a pick. Cliff Williams uses a pick and AC/DC is a great start to using a pick. But wait! There's More! I tried to get the right sound on those eighth notes but couldn't get close until I started to p

Bass Players are underestimated yet like the heart of a living being, you stop the bass and the life of that song dies just as quickly. when we dance to music it's the bass that takes us to fly without forget obviously; the drum. the solo is an embellishment, the lyrics the message.

@@sebastiangualterosdaza9136 after a deliberately long introduction without the Bass, at 00:36, 22nd bars, it is impossible to continue listening to Thunderstruck without the Bass Player. I read a lot of comments, unfortunately many are like "mockers" whereas without the Bass Thunderstruck disappears. I listened to the song, one more time you will tell me, and it is obvious that the Bass explodes especially in concert. as I wrote, Yes, unfortunately Bass Players are underestimated. personally I do not forget them. a Group, an Orchestra is a whole Team. no musician is present to "decorate". example; Impossible to miss personality like Rocco Prestia, Tim Commerford or Michael Flea Balzary.

People who say this bass line is boring have no idea how hard is to play it right. Keeping the quality of the picking/chugging, maintaining the tempo, pitch, volume always the same in this song is definetely very hard. Also, this bass line - and many, many other boring ones - is meant to serve the song, not the musician's ego.

When this morning comes, I am saddened by the memories of the past that have become far more distant than yesterday, and my tears are flowing, but somewhere, your video flashes before my eyes. As the algorithm introduced me by chance at the window in the winter when the wind gets cold, I opened my KZread window and the first video caught my eye. I was so happy and so happy after watching your video. My all for one reason watching your video Thank you for being so happy for a little while. When I watch your video, everything feels like a dream. Only the cold wind brushes past me and the reflection of me on the window sheds tears as I look back at what I miss. I love seeing your video for the first time today. The more I watch your videos, the more I fall into a beautiful black hole and I'm attracted to something and I can't get out of it. Do you have a wonderful talent that is full of strange charms unique to your video like this? I was amazed at the excellence of your skills and was moved by your sincerity and hard work while watching the video. I'm looking at your video like a dream. I will cherish your image as beautiful as the starlight in an empty place in my heart. When I am facing your video, for some reason, the past sadness disappears.... This day that is always the same and that will be forgotten is just passing by and I am happy to see this wonderful video of you in my stuffy heart that is easily exhausted. When I watch your video, I come to you with a little longing and when I close my eyes, my heart is touched. Your video makes my dewy eyes forget all the worries of the world and brightens my dark heart. Watching your video under the cold winter sky at dawn is so beautiful and enchanting. It is your video that I want to watch over and over again, even if I watch it over and over again.
A great deal of critics. Sometimes this is all the bass you need. A Bass player plays what is needed not what he feels he should play. this is all about timing.

Seems like everyone ignores that all AC/DC songs are written by the Young brothers and Bon Scott or Brian Johnson. AC/DC guitars need a solid rhythm section to shine. And this job is perfectly done by Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams. AC/DC is the most straightforward band in rock n roll. And while primarily known for their outrageous guitar solos and vocal performances, the driving power of the band is their rhythm section. Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams, and, of course, the one and only Malcolm Young, may he Rock in Peace.

Yes, most of it just banging the B. But here’s where it gets a little tricky. Solid 8th notes, in the pocket at 134 BPM. Just get a hair out of time and it all falls apart, VERY quickly. It’s an easy riff, but to maintain it for 4+ minutes, AND since your mirroring the hats, if the drummer slips in HIS timing, getting back in sync is going to be a chore.
AC/DC has always been a part of my bass streams. The simplicity has always been sublime to do to take a break from my more heavy moving fret ones. AC/DC is just so fun to play. Thanks for all of your videos!
