dunk contest; warriors cavs christmas day, thunder warriors super bowl weekend in the bay, thunder warriors r2 in okc, spurs 40 & 1 at home, thunder beating the 67 win spurs in the playoffs, steph curry ot pts record against blazers in the playoffs, 1st ever unanimous mvp, warriors were the main event and the cavs beating them at the end set the stage for the next year. 2017 was going to be even better with official bad blood between spurs, thunder, warriors, cavs and anyones guess for the ship. Then durant went to gs and the rest is history sighs.

The thing about the Warriors that sets them apart from other teams during this run they’ve been on is that they will not die. They are nearly impossible to close out. They’ve lost 2 playoff series since 2015, to the Cavs and to the Raptors and it took everything those teams had to close them out. They won’t give up.

@@theonlygoodonehere2259 it wasn’t just KD, our coaching sucked. Billy Donovan should’ve put Ibaka at the 5, Roberson at the 3, and Durant at the 4. If he gave Adams, and Kanter less minutes we would’ve closed them out in game 6. But we had the worst coach in the leagues for like 6 years.

He is a coward. No matter how you turn it. OKC was ready to sign any form of additional scoring help for KD and gave him all he wanted in order to keep championship aspirations up. KD was right before his prime years and decided to let all that development crumble and become the most overqualified role player in history.

During those OKC years of KD and Russ, i kept saying that Russ needed to change his game or be traded since he was just putting up empty stats and didn't contribute to winning basketball. Russ mostly made bad in-game decisions that cost them games and KD just had to leave that. That's why me and my friends knew that Russ going to the Lakers with Lebron would never work. At least now most of the world sees it.

Mind you the warriors did the same later. Don't remember if it's for the 2016-2017 or the 2017-2018 but Varejao only played something like 10 games early in the season and they still offered him a ring. This guy is such a parasite lol

For me, it is not being a bandwagon. Hardwork and dedication deserve fans. This Golden state warriors and or any other teams create fan base. You were not a fan of any team when you were born. If you are not from America, then i understand if you like any teams as you want. That’s why we always hear the word “Now, I am a fan”, “ I am starting to like them”. Even you, changes your favorite food, or even a friend. So stop calling this “bandwagon” sht. Just enjoy the game. Peace everyone! ✌️

I think they did that to appease KD. Kind of like a pitch trying to ensure he dosent leave in free agency..... (didn’t work obviously). But STEPH should’ve won the FMVP award in 2015 the first ship. Iggy made a clutch stop against Lebron be he didn’t stop Lebron through the entire 99% of the series. Bron was putting debit card numbers on our head.

@@spencerg9375 If you would need better stats to be FMVP then Curry should have been the 2015 FMVP by a long long shot. So clearly this isn't how it is attributed. Steph was the game MVP 3 games out of 4. He only had one bad game. Happen to everyone. Just look at Jordan stat from 96: 22pts with only 5 FG in 19 Att in the crucial G6 victory. Not very MVP like, far from it in particular if you compare with Jordan standard. So nope don't really make sense to not have the best player for 75% of the series to not get the FMVP just because of ONE bad performance (even though it was a very bad one)

I love this. Meaningful basketball. Everyone playing @ a high level.

And I fell in Love with Stephen Curry and the Warriors for ever

I will say though, Adams looked like he was playing on ice slightly less than LeBobby did guarding KD and Steph in game 2 of 2017 finals. Guy looked like he was playing in roller skates. Mike, 8 time 1st team all defense and DPOY one time. God bless
