Good job documenting this area before the hurricane wiped it out Crazy to think that rock was there for 250+ million years before a weather event strong enough destroyed it

We just went there on 3rd of September 2022 but couldn't make to the rocks. Bcz my husband has disabilities he is the one who wanted to go there most. Biggest challenge was to get down to the sea. It should to be developed so everyone can reach there before those rocks get disappear.

Thanks Heath! It's worth visiting. The rock formations keep changing every year. If you look up pictures of Thunder Cove you can see how some arches have collapsed compared to what this video shows.

I grew up very near there. The large one I remember still being connected to the rest of the island. The smaller rock I remember having other pieces on it.

The drone shot made me think of the infamous rip tides of PEI. Wonder if you could see them on a drone shot?

I haven't checked for them but maybe there are some visible. Just look for the spots without waves. It was low tide with the water rising at the time of filming.

@@rivervidsyt you know it's the martimes when that many people gather to see odd shaped rocks. That saying they are quite beautiful and amazing work of nature.
