I love how positive this comment section is but I feel bad cause I just use this video for keeping my idle games open so I don't have to constantly tap the screen to keep my phone on...but it is a very soothing sound. You got this, whatever it is that you’re going through, you will get over it, you will overcome it, you won’t stay there. You are already so strong just being alive and living every day out, so keep going at it, never give up, you can do this. You will overcome. You will succeed. You will get through it all. I got through the storm of a very hard chapter in my life, you will too. Not as fast as we would like, but it will end soon! Don’t give up, be as optimistic as you can! Take that free time to yourself! Do what makes you feel happy and at peace! Don’t neglect yourself and rest, take care of yourself and eat well. You need to vent it out, cry it all out. For you aren’t alone. So many are with you in this long fight called life. And we will all get through it. Everyone will get through it. You got this. You’ve made it so far, look at you, you are never going down. Congratulate yourself on those small efforts- waking up, getting up and going on through your day, doing that homework, caring for yourself, eating well, giving yourself the time you need, feel proud of the resistance you have had through all this time. As a kid, I'd lie on an air-mattress on the garage floor with the door opened, listening to the rain (plus getting a bit of splash) and watching the 'fireworks' until falling asleep. Loved it then, love to imagine it now.

When I was young my grandma had a house by a lake. The porch had a tin roof, so I’d always go out there during a storm. It was just so relaxing that I eventually came to love storms because of it. The lightning was always a huge wow factor for me, and I remember watching it dance across the sky when I’d sit out there. If it was still storming when I went to sleep I’d have the blinds open so I could see the sky, and the bedroom I slept in was the closest to the porch I could still hear the rain on the roof. Whenever I get a house, I’m making a tin-roofed porch a necessity.

@@davidpotts7116 Wife and I had awnings fitted outside the bedroom windows and spec'd that we wanted them to amplify the rain-fall sounds. The vendor (surprisingly) said most folks want the awnings to muffle the sound, but he'd make them very 'tight' at our request. Very happy at the result. We don't get many T-storms in coastal CA, but I love it when we do.

I’m a trucker who uses the audio to neutralize the sound of idling trucks parked beside me at truck stops. I find it to be the perfect balance of rain and thunder. I appreciate the black screen and the ten hour length as well. 😀

I'm here for the same reason. My therapist suggested guided relaxation videos but that's a bit scary to me. I don't want someone telling me stuff in my sleep. Good rain storm is relaxing. That with 5mgs of xanax a day to be honest

I suffer from chronic pain. At times thats all there is in body and mind. It entangles me, drags me down to the deepest despair. It is unforgiving, unrelenting. Counting the minutes for the next dose of pain relief. I thank you for this video whoever you are. I can go there and feel the rain wash over me smell the freshness. God bless all of you. Bruh when there a thunderstorm at night that day just goes form bad to great

Used to have ptsd from tornados, now I sleep despite my insomnia if I hear rain and thunder. It's crazy how not only do I now only panic if it's storming while I'm in a car, but if I'm in the safety of my home I actually feel cozy and childlike to the point of being able to sleep despite my insomnia if I hear storms. The human mind is absolutely odd and incredible. God bless you guys, this is your sign that when tomorrow comes, you can make it through ANYTHING

If you are reading this just remember that you are loved, you are worthy and, even if it l feels impossible right now, you are gonna be okay. You deserve a peaceful life. It’s gonna be beautiful 🩷
