Thule just send me an email that the tent they where to send me is broken and they don't want to send it and wait for a new one. Since I have some critics on this tent in this video I would advice you to wait with buying one until I did the proper full video. Subbed for part 2 I really like the idea of spare roof rack space and relatively low profile size and it doesn’t get super cold where I live so it could be the one for me 🙏 either that or they bring out a second model fixing up issues like the zips ect Anyway great video I’m keen to here the full review if they end up sending it back to you ✌️

Hoi Gijs, innovative review during Covid lockdown. Great job! I like the concept of lengthwise folding, but it needs 10cm more length, height and width to fit two grown-ups comfortably. With just one entrance on one side and limited head space makes moving around in the small space even less comfortable. To me this is a basic 1-person overnighter for short trips only. On the positive side, the fabric looks more robust than most rooftop tents. Also the wrapped roof pipes reduces condensation in colder weather. Any possibility to fit an awning over the entrance? I think it needs bit more field testing and improvements before offering it to customers.

Hoi TR ;-), Well agree, agree, agree. Fabric is like most RTT's I see that are in this price range. The cheap one have fabric that is worse. Awning? Really would love to hear an update or if you think there is a better option. Looking for something thin and light to go on top the M3.. just me crashing in the woods for Dads night away... we are in Oregon... so not too worried about the Ice.. in the M3..

What recommendations do you have for a RTT that can be used in winter and also carry a snowboard rack of some sort? And also a surfboard rack during the rest of the year? Small is fine, basically for me and my dog

Hello! I just got one of these and I'm struggling to figure out how to properly keep the rain fly attached when stowing the tent. I can get the cover on but it bulges out a good bit due to the rain fly poles. Do I leave poles in the anchor pockets and the straps snapped?

You do know that you can remove the cover and zipper and switch it round so that it unzips from the front and flip the over the back.

My husband and I are trying to find a roof top tent that we can use in the winter that isn't too big so our diesel heater can keep it nice and warm. Only problem is that we're both pretty tall so we don't fit in most of the smaller hard shell tents. We really like this tents size and the fabrics look really good on it. Do you have any recommendations on other RTTs that are good for winter camping?

@@OutdoorguruGearReviews yeah, I guess it’s similiar to car industry…the journalists shall be careful with their analysis because if they find too many aspects to improve the auto maker could eventually left them over for further reviews of new models. What a shame. Maybe you can try throughout a RTT dealer, if you’re in the Nederland there is Daktent as huge specialized dealer for RTTs. And they work with pretty much every brand. These two models are on the top of the soft shell segment. I’m very interested on choosing one but I have no chance to test them. I’m also interested on the iKamper X-Cover 2.0. Hopefully you can test them and share a fantastic and super detailed review. Happy new year!!!🎊🎈🎆

So best to bring and use an extra double size air matress on the top of the built in matress. It is very unique that you can see the sky, but I think most of these car tents are overpriced by far.
