I had my front door knob locked, deadbolt locked and the chain hooked. My 3 year old son got a chair and pulled it up to the front door. He unlocked doorknob, deadbolt, and chain. Luckily my neighbor saw him and alerted him. Our kitchen was on the backside of the house and i was cooking dinner. They can sneak out!

Add a deadbolt lock you can lock/unlock both sides with a key.

My wife and I did originally planned a drive across America when I retire, but to be honest from what we see in America we do not think it would be a safe prospect, lots of places over the globe seem to be less safe - it seems the world is imploding I’m sad to observe.

I travel all over and haven't had any problems. If you are reasonable sterrt smart and can read situations you will be fine, otherwise you can be in danger anywhere. That hasn't changed in decades, only the perceptions and so many news channels.

One cannot be careful enough these days. My wife & I have driven around Australia but we were always camped in Holliday parks before dark. We always felt safe but one never knows. Go & travel safe & enjoy the beauty of your country, if you don’t you will always regret it! Best wishes.

@@flyer617 You’re right and the media doesn’t paint a good picture of practically anywhere. I was talking to a young lady from Afghanistan where the media would have us believe that it’s a hell on earth. She had returned from a trip to see family in Kanderhar and said that now is a good time to visit as it is the safest time for a very long time. Overall travel has to be risk managed and not taking silly chances or provoking situations. If my health holds out I will travel as it’s an itch I have wanted to scratch and have not been fortunate enough to do, so 🙏🏻willing.

I love everything about this movie !

I hadn't heard of this film. I'm glad that certain aspects explored in Death Wish are still relevant and of interest.

Good movie 🎥 thanks for sharing. I watched it four times before but it is worth watching again.

Lets face reality. America has changed 😢. It is not the safe place I grew up in during the 1950's and 60's. Our cities have become deadly cesspools of crime and violence. Nothing like what they once were.

I went to New York a couple x’s for events at Jacob Javits Center and then to Vincent’s in little Italy , though it was nice cause I was with people that knew their way around, but you could not pay me to live there.

I’m sorry to here your home area is not safe. I have lived in Tasmania my whole life with a small 6 year stint in Australian army which I served in Townsville North Queensland. If you could move would you. Tasmania is safe. Look on google earth for Bracknell Tasmania, that’s my current home. I know most of my neighbours. Zero crime because everyone knows everyone.
