Even the highest sub count simfluencer, JImmy Broadbent, doesn't have a million - Sim racing is just a small niche - the arse end of gaming so to say.

78K is HUGE for a sim content channel. Sim racing is a niche genre and the KZread algorithm treats it like that too.

I think that medium level wheels that are reasonably priced will be most sold to those who switch to different race categories a lot. And I think that when it comes to sim racing, I think there is a lot of people who after a while go like this: "If only I could fast-swap my wheel rims so that I could do like 20 minutes sessions of rallying, F1, GT3, retro classic cars, GT road cars, ..." Honestly I think it looks great but, BUT, the drink button not having an ability to pour drink - that disappoints me... 🙄

Hey great video first of all. Amazing editing and shots. I have a T300 servo base that I initially used with a Ferrari GTE wheel (similar to the GT wheel 28cm). I decided to buy this Ferrari 488 GT3, but when I installed it in my T300 servo base I could instantly feel a significant loss of force feedback, specially on turns. With my GTE wheel I can clearly feel the car tires resistance against the road surface during a turn, but with the 488 GT3 wheel it became extremely smooth, like almost no resistance at all. I play exclusively on PS5 and that behavior is more present in GT Sport and GT7 games and a bit less on ACC. I had to bump Max torque from 4 to 7-8 in order to start feeling some FFB on turns, but I can still say there's some smoothness. Would you have a chance to compare a rounded 28cm wheel against the Ferrari 488 GT3? I'd love to find more inputs from other customers to more precisely judge if I can potentially have a defective wheel. Thank you in advance

I’m sure it would be good with a T818 and SF1000 for GT cars and LMP but I don’t regret switching to Moza. Nice video like always 🔥

I'm surprised everybody always makes a fuss of the use of plastic. Especially the blend thrustmaster has been using lately. Hell they used plastic in real world transmissions now without issue. It can be nearly as strong as steel

First of all, its better to have a lighter rim for sim racing. You feel more details

Only regret, no possibility of connecting via USB, with a Moza quick release.... the weight is perfect.

Personally I think the fanatec mclaren wheel and the moza ks wheel are better value for money

As someone coming from a base t300 wheel this has more buttons and is instantly great edition. More customization for game on console is great. I had to make sacrifices for realism/functionality with stand wheel. I paid what I paid and satisfied

​@@mbardosHey, got mine today and attached properly, there is almost no squeek or creak at 80% ffb. During my last stint in acc i maybe noticed a creak twice. In comparison with the leather edition wheel with the quick release adapter, there is like 99% less creak and it feels nice to drive. Just be sure to update the drivers and firmware on the t818.

I prefer no carbon fiber at all if it looks so basic or bad even when it's fake. Just use some expensive soft-to-touch plastic and leather or brushed metal

Looks really cool! I’d love to get it but at the same time I think I’d rather spend the money on making diy bass shakers for my rig. I recently made a dot rev indicator for my rig so it’s not like I need them on my wheel anymore and my current is holding up fine.

my t300 whelel has starter waring out and some buttons even stopped working. the pedals also squeek so much my ears almost start hurting. and idk if i should upgrade to the fanatec dd r2r bundle or a moza r3. or if i should just get a new wheel rim and see if the pedals are fixable. i am also kind of tight on a budget for a new wheel, so im trying not to buy a 600 dollar setup xD

Micro center has a deal going on right now for the TS XW wheel base and pedals for $419. It’s the same thing as a TS PC just also compatible with Xbox. It’s still belt driven but has 6.5nm of TQ putting it up there with a lot of the entry level/mid level DD wheels out there. I just got one and love it. Plus you could swap between the wheel or comes with and your t300 wheel lol.

Once i saw how they use a carbon sticker. I put a carbon sticker on my open wheel add on. New wheel.

Any recommendations on a good direct drive wheel or an upgrade from my logitech g920?

I bought a Thrustmaster T818, as I had Thrustmaster wheels already. Good DD bases available from Fanatec and Moza too.
