John, Having problems with rim flaring during pull. Any suggestions?

Basically just collar in and try the pull and concentrate on coming straight up ...relax inner hand and if you have trouble try pulling inward .If you can do then try straight up. I have a Fundamentals of Wheel DVD: johnbrittpottery.com/shop/fundamentals-of-wheel-throwing-2/

I think I need to start working with softer clay.

That is Grolleg Porcelain, Its not necessarily the easiest to work with. But its fun once you master it.
