KM Mac had a better jumper than both and could get to the hole just a good as Jordan. Jordan was a better defender but other than that, why not? Assist, rebounds about the same due to his height Mac would have more blocks but then Jordan had a lot of blocks from the weak side. It would be close

Gilbert Arenas interview bought me back here!!!!
Growing up in Uganda, ball wasn't as huge as football aka soccer(mostly English premier league) and most people only knew the Lakers and the Bulls. I knew about McGrady in Prison Break (Sona) and wondered why the kid in prison idolized him. That was like 5 years ago when I saw that episode and this the first time I decided to look him up. Man, was he a smooth operator!🔥🙌🏾

Scoring is way up and a lot easier than it was in 2003. You act like I went up hella points on his average I only went up like 3-4 points from 32ppg or around 35-36ppg.

T-Mac, in his best years only shot 45.7 and 45.1 % from the field. During the season this game was from he only shot 41.7% from the field. He averaged 43.5 % for his career. Jordan shot 49.7% for his career and the only seasons he shot as bad as McGrady was the year he came back from basketball for those 17 games and when he was on the Wizards at age 38-40. McGrady was great when he was on a hot streak but he was very much a volume scorer and was never at any season in his career as efficient and deadly as Jordan was during 10 seasons. McGrady was stopped by the rim far more than half the time.
T-Mac is like a better version of Paul George on the offensive end. Had a ton of potential to be great. Unfortunately I’ve heard he didn’t have the best work ethic, got injured, and the best player he played with was Yao Ming. Crazy that he never even won a playoff series.
@davidng8870
2 жыл бұрын
Well he played with Vince also and it wasn’t like Yao was a scrub. Tbh when they were together I would say Mac underperformed rather than Yao for the most part. Maybe his teammates explain why he didn’t win a chip but not getting out of the first round is on him imo. Not like PG had a lot of help in Indy either

@@msytuser yeah different injuries, the type of injury tmac had is one of those that rarely get good again and your knee is gonna be weaker for the rest of your career. First he blew out his knee, then he tried to play after that and got microfracture. In 2009 after which he was never the same. Some other players who had a simillar injury is shareef abdur rahim, penny hardaway, anthonio mcdyess. All these players go from being a walking 20 point 6-8 rebs 3-6 assist to 10-15 pts and less ast and rebs with worse efficiency.
