He was so underrated in the 2011 playoffs. If he was able to be mentally prepared for the Finals we would be talking about this Miami Heat team as one of the best teams ever. This was Wade's last year in his absolute peak before he started to slow down a bit too. James & Wade were so unstoppable on the fast break their first year together it was almost comical.

Even though he was too passive in that Dallas series, this series definitely marked the beginning of LeBron showing the league that he has another gear in the playoffs and that regular season matchups (Heat lost 3-1 to the Celtics and 3-0 to the Bulls) didn't mean anything.

gor9027 Good to finally find someone who knows basketball. LeBron James is easily the best in the playoffs. He has nothing left to prove in the regular season, he's a 4 time MVP. He just wants rings. Some people think Boston stood a chance but in reality they were just too slow and didn't have an answer for LeBron. And with Josh starting to hit 3s and space the floor along with Wade's theatrics it was a wrap.

For me the 2010 ECSF is the only playoff loss I can't explain for Lebron. In 07 and 11 Lebron wasn't confident in his jumper and those defenses went full zone and made him feel uncomfortable. But in 2010 he went from monster in the first 3 games against the Celtics to looking like he gave up. I really wonder if that Delonte West story is legit that would at least explain why he started turning over the ball so much.

This year was LeBrons peak, You can tell after this season he slowly starts to slow down, Jump less on his jump shot and starts to smartly pick and chooses when to play defense, All to prolong his career, As he looses that athleticism he gets wiser and that's why he is still the best player in the world in 2019.

Im feel bad for bron they could win mavs easily but bron choke and being good role player that series if he play like mvp bron they will sweep the mavs

my theory on 2011 finals is that heat decided to run the offense through Wade because he had the best matchup, LeBron was used mostly as a decoy deep on perimeter to create more space, it worked at first but Bron being a player used to having the ball more his whole life, felt out of rhythm and uncomfortable during the times he was needed. Either way,if it was choking or bad strategy it was a mistake he learned from and became better because of. rather that than him retire for whole year like Jordan.

He learned nothing. It was Wade who went up to Lebron and gave him complete control of the team. Lebron could not function as a second option.

Lebron is in the top 5 but greatest i can't say because I saw kobe and mj play plus kareem. But let's be honest he's won with stacked teams and has played in the eastern conference which has been horrible for the last 15 yrs to be honest. I just personally go by eras and this 1 is his.
