I like how you all appreciate each other’s cabins/huts and do little chores and leave messages. It’s respect for each other.and each other’s private get away for peace and tranquillity. Long may it continue.

    修理斧頭,金屬鐵塊要穿過木頭,木頭頂端要釘上倒鉤釘子,卡住金屬鐵塊,如果沒有這樣處理,操作斧頭時,金屬鐵塊會拋飛出去 ( 太危險了 )

That is true again if Alex doesn't want people to find his location. He might want to be careful in filming his surrounding location. Because they can identify his location if they have been in that area

Enjoying your videos and already subscribed. One question on repairing the axe - is it not better to hit the bottom of the handle towards the axe head, rather than hitting the axe head onto the handle? I have seen a lot of people, much smarter than I am, hitting the handle into the axe head instead of the other way. Can anyone explain which way is preferred and why?

My husband grew up in the mountain in Alaska where they had no running water and did steam bath like you do. I've never understood the concept go in there you sweat you beat yourself with the branches to bring the sweat and impurities out. But then what? What gets rid of the stink? I know if I sweat a lot on a hot day or working, I don't feel cleaner, I feel like I need to take a shower to wash the sweat off. Can someone please explain to me this concept cuz I really don't get it? How after sweating the impurities out are you cleaner afterwards without a shower to then wash off the sweat and stink? When people use a sauna at a gym afterwards they shower.

That is the wrong way to attach a handle to a tool head. Starting the handle into the tool head like you did is fine. Here is where things are different. Hold the head down at the bottom and strike the handle from the top. Try it and see the truth of it... The handle will be tighter in the tool head. Also, I like to flare the slot for the wooden wedge as it makes it easier to get the wooden wedge started. Then I use two steel wedges at about a 45* angle to the tool head. This spreads the handle front to back as well as side to side.
