Ya know what's awesome to see?? That you still obviously have so much fun playing this song! Everything from the added accents, to the stick tricks and the singing along and smiling throughout... It all just screams that even though you have played this song hundreds of times, had a whole career defined by this one song, that there is still joy in it! So many bands and artists end up hating their most popular creations, it's nice to see someone still able to have fun with it!

Not particularly a fan of DF, but a HUGE fan of Gee. Always brings out monstrous performances and makes them look so effortless.

The contrast between the old video and this one is so cool to watch. 10 years ago Gee looked not exactly tense but very eager to impress and now he just seems content and happy with what he achived so far. I wish Gee at least another 10 years and hopefully even more success and happyness!

Great performance. And I want to notice 2 things. 1. The control of the volume is great. Some drummers make loud hits on snare when play slow and when they get faster the volume goes down and you don't hear blast beats and fills. But here the drummer plays in the same dynamics and volume so you can hear all the fills and hits and nothing loses in a mix. 2. The strength of playing. The drummer doesn't hit very hard. And I think it is mostly becuase of the touring experience when you must save strenght to play the full show. So you must control power and speed not to get tired very soon. Great performance of the real master! Thank you for sharing this masterpiece with us!

I remember seeing him play this live in Birmingham Alabama a few years ago. I will never forget him pointing his drum stick at me and throwing it to me after this song. Still have it, one of my most treasures memories. Thanks dude, you are the best!

The carefree way you do this, the variation you put in and most of all the fun you have while doing it is so fantastic to see and hear. The amount of work and dedication you put in to constantly hone your already impressive skills is truly amazing. It's been almost 10 years since I starded druming and this video was a big inspiration to me!

This is thr only song I can listen to on repeat for my 1.5 hour commute to amd from work. I watch drum and guitar covers. It is truly a masterpiece. The lyrics. The melody. The drums and the guitars everything is perfect.

I watched his reaction to Junna playing this song and he was extremely complimentary, I liked her version a lot but, OMG I had no idea how much better it could be done.

This is super super super amazing!!!!! He sometimes hits the same phrase as he did ten years ago. Awesome double bass drum stability. The fill-in is also comfortable with the same sound And he keeps smiling with this difficult drum! Most humans are desperate and pull their faces.

Makes it look effortless. Gee is the master of his craft. Love the enthusiasm!

You can tell just from his laugh lines around his eyes that those last 10 years has literally been him living his dream.

I wish he covered other songs like Operation Ground and Pound, Heartbreak Armageddon, Heart of Dragon, etc. All have great drum sections.

I know this is old, but I watched Gee's Reaction to Junna a long time ago, and after watching this I understand what he meant when he kept saying how he loved the way Junna always smiled while playing. Here, I see Gee smiling his ass off like he still enjoys playing that song after playing it literally thousands of times. Nice to see!
