    Actually, if I'm right, majority of the time they don't even use a fox/don't kill it, I think they just do it for the run, and when they do kill the fox they legally have to use a gun and can't let the dogs kill it

    Trixie Paws fox hunting is illegal- they are not supposed to be trailing a fox. OST of the hunts are illegally chasing foxes. Most of them also have Terrier men on the trail proving that it is illegal. Disgusting heartless people 😡

I have witnessed them killing lambs and other animals, including there being two in my garden (I live in a village where there are other houses close together) trying to kill my rabbits. Megan Moss hunting is not dangerous as long as you are careful enough looking at the root they were taking I think they had no choice to jump those slightly dangerous jumps otherwise they would have been left behind and have to find a new way back on there own, some horse like my own, love hunting so much they get themselves extremely upset if they hear the horn and they are in their stable it really is just person preference and I think she is still caring aswell I think the original comment is true again this is about opinions like the original comment said so idk why u felt a need to come at her when she said it was their opinion

    @@Adri_and_orca hounds are very easily distracted. Once they’ve caught wind of a fox they’ll immediately chase after it. This how so many of these hunts get away with killing foxes without being prosecuted. They use a loophole within the system in which they pretend like it was an “accident” when in reality the hunt knew full well what they were doing. The only way to get rid of these loopholes is to ban all these sports outright. This is also how almost all hunts inevitably end up on privately owned land. They follow the hounds onto other people’s properties and naturally the hounds harass and sometimes kill livestock or pets. But of course the hunt don’t care anymore about people’s pets and livestock then they do the foxes they want to rip apart for giggles.

    Everyone’s trying to say they’re not hating on this, I’ll come straight out, I’m hating on this. It isn’t safe for the horses, it’s cruel for the foxes. The foxes are living in their land and forests, not even in populated areas. People are jumping wires without protection boots and constantly hitting their horses because they won’t jump dangerous ditches. It’s not safe, and the stats of injuries agree with me. Certain riders are extremely rude and treat their horses as machines. It’s a outdated sport. Culture doesn’t equal cruelty free.

    What a great ride out for you, I loved every second of this clip. It’s brought back so many memories of my childhood out with the hounds and qualifying the horses for racing. I was born and raised in the countryside within a farm setting throughout my whole childhood, it taught me to love and appreciate all animals of this world, including the wildlife. I’ve had many a discussion with ill educated people about the cruelty of ‘Drag Hunting’...... Your video will help those who don’t know what Drag Hunting/Hedge Jumping is. Basically it means the hounds follow a human who ‘Drags’ a scent line along the ground for us to follow.... NO FOXES OR ANY ANIMALS ARE HUNTED!!!! Ps. It’s a rule whilst riding out with the hounds that the master is never overtaken by any rider, the grumpy man in hunting pinks (red coat) probably didn’t want to be shown up because his horse refused. Sir, if you read this I apologise, good evening sir.

    I don't understand saying "Good Girl" and then smacking the mare. It's a mixed message. I give a gentle rub. The only explanation would be that one smacks because they think the horse can't feel it due to an adrenaline rush. Any thoughts out there?

  • @virginiamoss7045

    @virginiamoss7045

    Saying "good girl/boy" is not for the benefit of the horse; it's just one of many inputs they have to filter out as having no meaning for them. Same is true for the "patting". The rider is projecting their own emotions onto the horse with those smacks and comments. Just some of the many, many things the horse has to filter out. Makes me want to "smack" the rider.
