The second step in our apartment spruce-up is of course thrifting key pieces so we headed out to New Jersey and Long Island in search of them. Like I literally thrifted a set of blue and white mugs cus they were on my list too 😂
Well, how interesting to see a jaw dropper at the thrift joint and at least you know you have something in common. Ouch, on the wax burn. Okay you got your thrift pal with you on this trip and she even coming out when she probably rather be home curled up on the sofa. I remember those shoes they were called jellys when I was a kid but they were so great. I have a couple of pairs that I bought before covid19 and my thought of them as poolside shoes but haven't worn them yet. Growing up (born early 60s and in the south) every lady of class had a candy dish in their sitting area that would contain mints or other wrap candy for guests and these containers were just exquisite. Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and all in the days to come.
Babe if you use mouse wash, get a crystal decanter for that! It's such a awesome upgrade and gives you an excuse to buy a really great one ♡

That super long wrap skirt thing and the lace trousers are African. I would say Nigerian. Cool finds, I always buy African things when I see them at thrift stores… well boy always, when they fit
