First off, I'm on Team Beverley: I love that 70s skirt! I'm not a fan of just brown/orange but with the deep blue mixed in it's really cool! I also loved the fake cardi/top combo - I've got some of those (charity shop purchases) and they look really cute. Also - all those patterns? MEGA BARGAIN! Time for a sewing-palooza LOL! xx

You were lucky to find some gems, for example the Elvis cd and the sewing pattern that you really wanted. I'm with your Mum on the skirt (sorry). I love that you are buying for future projects (your bedroom, sewing). All great things to look forward to 🙂

Hi from across the pond. The dress on the woman's weekly special pattern is what we call a jumper here--sleeveless dresses that you wear a blouse or sweater under. What you call a jumper we call sweaters. Like, they're wearing turtleneck sweaters under the jumper. I just find that interesting. I love the navy dress but I'm with your mum on that skirt! lol
