We got the amber ashtray for a wedding gift 50 yrs ago, it came in a set of three that one was the largest.😊 it was common to get them for gifts back then

Jeremy some of those green square Blanko glass is from 1600-1700, this was said on an Antique show from England,

I purchased those heavy GOLD ashtrays in 1976..

17:18 European pottery is a hot commodity too. Nice score. The stamp (and the weight like you mentioned) indicates it was probably made for export.

We used to find the needlepoint pattern all the time

3:50 The 'Lil Dutch Girls' blue and white set (Delft I believe) seems to be making a come back. I'm painting my kitchen blue and white and I'm going to incorporate my delft. 'Lady Mary Beth' is the Blue and White Queen, and a Waterford Expert. Happy Hunting!

Totally agree with this. Gather it up, plunk it down and ask “can we make a deal?” You can get some of the best stuff that way.

It's good to do a number in your head in advance to for resale it takes a little more math then I would like but helps get the price down overall. Cause they may only have 1 $ invested in one thing but almost asking price into something else

We stopped using them where I used to work quite sometime ago. At least 15 years, probably closer to 20
