Love this blue and white scheme. I have many blue and white decor items. I’ll try that ginger jar. I have one purchased at Tuesday Morning for $29 When you browse through designer magazines blue and white jars and plates are usually in the living room and dining room pictures. Designers love them

Love that transformation of that beautiful "swamp" vase. I can't seem to find large vases with detail at my thrift store. Blues/white color scheme is in my home.

I've been incorporating blue and white into my decor, too. I love finding blue and white pieces at thrift stores, but I also splurged on 2 pieces from Home Goods. They were on clearance, so not too much of a splurge. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Oh my goodness, Lisa, I love all these projects!!! I'm going to have to go to the thrift store and look for a swamp vase that I can re-do. I have a navy blue room and it would look great in there, along with the arrangement you made. I'm going to try the scotch tape trick, instead of foam. So glad that you treated yourself. I didn't have to go looking for a swamp vase. I had a clear ginger jar that I had bought months ago, not knowing what I was going to do with it. Had my husband spray paint it white and got some navy blue ribbon today. Used a rose fold brooch because that's all I had. Love it and my husband even commented on it. That's always a good sign!!! Thank you again.

Is the finish on the white spray paint matte or glossy?.... I have been trying to figure out how to have a glossy finish. I use a glossy spray paint but the sheen is very minimal and it looks matte.
