Oh I dig that Lucite napkin holder. Just like the one that sat on our dining table growing up in the 60's and 70's! I'm no longer collecting things that I used to that reminded me or replaced things lost from my youth. Dad remarried a real mean woman that stole then through away so much of the things mom and I had left at home to keep safe until we were able to have a home. One thing we kept asking for was my maternal great, great grandmother's lead crystal vase and other treasures. Dad has now passed away and I ended up with very little, including our beautiful home that I was always told was my inheritance... I wish someone would come help me sell my stuff, appraise it and all. I watch Dr. Lori but can't afford to pay her to come to my home and do the appraisals and all that. I loved watching your video! I so miss being able to go thrifting! Esp. for clothes that I really am desperate for. I have gained wt in my old age and since becoming disabled. I have only 1 pair of pants...but it really doesn't matter since I only leave home to go to Dr. appointments now. If only I had a loved one to leave my memorabilia to! Nobody is interested in the older generation unless they are scammers or thieves it seems like. Bless you for taking care of your mom...make tons of memories with her and record her stories, even if you are tired of them! One day you will treasure hearing her voice and seeing her on video. I sure miss my loved ones! Don't get old, it sucks!

Loved that perfume bottle and the bakelite bangle. I used to collect whimsies, I was twelve and it was Xmas and I asked my mother to get me some to give to friends at school. She had to do it in her lunch hour but bless her she did. Just brings back memories. I thought they just did animals, I had no idea they did graduation caps etc. It's like Holly Hobbie that was around the same time and I've got a Holly Hobbie plate amongst all the stuff we have. You can't repeat stuff like that.

I really liked the green USA pottery.

I’m so sorry for your loss, I lost my Mom 1 year ago, there’s times when I have questions she only had the answers to and I get the impulse to run and ask and suddenly it hits me like a ton of bricks. She’s not there! It’s devastating 😢

Boyd's has bears, bunnies & cats mostly. I used to collect them, have sold almost all of them I've sold all of my little vintage animals like Hagen....went quick!

The Dart bird wall hangings at 23:49 actually have a date on them. The one you held up says copyright MCMLXIII. Translated from Roman numerals, that would be 1963. Not sure if that's the year the actual hangings were made or just when the design was copyrighted. Either way, that should narrow down the time period. Awesome find!
