Quiet luxury reminds me of the late 80s/early 90s trend where everybody looked like they were going to the office, even in Jr High. lol

I love concept of this video, not only thrifting for some theme but also making small capsule wardrobe of your catches (and combining with “old” things from ur wardrobe) is amazing idea!

black wool pants with strip down side and black top looked stunning and was my favorite

I enjoyed seeing how you put down good pieces that were not quite what you were looking for and stayed within budget. I love the scarf! I would have probably picked up slightly different pieces but your choices worked well for you. Unsolicited advice: make friends with your iron 😂 quiet luxury is always well pressed 😊

I really really love that you have standards for the pieces you choose to take home and that if its slightly too big, not the right fabric, out of season, worn, etc it gets put back. A lot of people get caught up on “well I’ll wear it in fall” or “I can fix it a bit to be what I want” but most of us dont have the time or energy to follow through on those things. I have a hard time shopping because I’m quite picky with style and fit so its hard watching hauls or thrifting because people make it seem so easy to find so many items. I like that you showed the thought process behind it

The Goodwills here in Los Angeles are charging crazy amounts for old ratty polyester. It's wild the price increases. I visited a friend up in northern Idaho and her goodwill was AMAZING. Everything was old school goodwill prices, organized, and clean. Here in LA you can't even be in the store more than 15 minutes bc it smells so bad.

Every Monday and Friday there are flea market near where I live in Ostia Rome. I found Sergio Rossi sandals and tod kitten heels for 10 euro each. 😊

I love all except the baggy white shorts and the black shorts set but my favorite was tge white jumpsuit, black skirt and blouse and black trouse and bodysuit. You did a great job.

It’s a gem 💖 I’m bad at tying so the chain belt works better for me

My best moments at goodwill outlet (a.k.a. the bins) involved making a wish list before going in, wearing a mask amd gloves (there are sewing needles and and broken glass in some items) and the chemical spray they use to disinfect everything makes me sneeze. Some days it's a bust. Other times I find amazing things! Also, wearing basics like yoga clothes and shies that slip off help to try things on for fit.

You really hit it out of the park! That white jumpsuit was amazing! I liked the long belt on it! You have great style. I subscribed!

Yes! I used Canva pro, removed the background of the photos of clothes and organized - there are several other softwares which remove background like PhotoRoom!

When I thrift I never think about asthetics when looking through items but now you put a different perspective for me(: Also is it okay to ask what time you went to the family thrift? Because you still found great things and it was calmer when you went. I always go at opening and it can be hectic
