Construction waste and consumption is a big problem. This salvage yard is committed to minimizing construction waste, providing an affordable resource stream for the community, and offering public education about reuse. They also make donations of free supplies to local nonprofits and neighbors in need. If you're working on a remodel or building a home, salvage yards are a great option for more than just decor and furniture -- you can find donated tile, kitchen appliances, doors and much more, all while minimizing waste and contributing to a community fund.

In my opinion, the mirror you just bought looks PERFECT above the mantle!
"Jesus marrying Joseph" is killing me 😆. Also as a mirror and brass lamp fanatic I am having heart palpitations over the lamp you found right after the art deco bed and all of the great mirrors!!! Great prices too!!
That mirror shape is so dynamic and beautiful on mantle. Keep it! What a great salvage place that was.

Yes, keep it over the mantle and take the competing mirror elsewhere. ❤
I love the new mirror, it’s dark frame harmonizes with the dark of the inside of the fireplace. It also confirms with your go bigger rule. It’s just more regal. The other mirror needs a new home now.

I agree with the other folks. The darker, bigger mirror seems to be a better fit or balance in relation to the fire place opening. While a nice mirror the smaller one doesn't seem right over the fire place, but keep it! Love, love, love your energy and you make me laugh every time! I'm 73 yrs young and still decorating/rearranging my home and you are an inspiration!
Love the thrifted mirror. Looks more to scale with the fireplace in my opinion.
I really like the big mirror over the fireplace. What about moving the smaller mirror on the wall opposite of where the coats are hanging and using it as an entry way mirror? Have you ever been to Miss Pixie's? I used to go there all the time when I lived in D.C.

I’m no interior decorator but I love the big mirror! It looks so lovely and fits so perfectly there on the mantle. There were so many pieces of furniture that was so beautiful and priced so low. They just need some TLC. They just don’t make stuff like use to and I never realized how much antiques and vintage items are so beautiful.

Forgot what day it was and saw this pop up and let out an audible “WHAAATT!!!” Haven’t even watched yet. Already exuding joy.
I'm jaded as all he** by youtube designers, but I found you last week, and with every video where you do a room (okay not your bedroom...that was good from the start) I watch what you start with and go, "ah, naw, that wont work" and at the end I'm like, "holy crap that TOTALLY works!" So very impressed with your design sensibility. You have something unique happening in that muse of yours. Dont let anybody screw with it, cuz you are good. Dunno if you want your own design show and books and stuff, but that's where it's headed. Dont let 'em ruin you. You're cool.
Hi , not to make your nervous or weird you out but I've been binge-watching your videos the last few days and I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your life online. I’m in Baltimore and there’s a few places that have incredible antiques. The first that comes to mind is a place called Second Chances, which is near the casino here. But it’s this MASSIVE warehouse that has everything from the tiniest little vintage fixtures to literal two story stone columns pulled off old federal buildings or colonial houses. They have furniture, they have Knick knacks, they have vintage movie theater marquees. It’s insane! But so cool, even to just look around. I also think of another place called Ryan’s Relics that’s in my neighborhood(ish). It’s an antique place that mostly focuses on furniture but they also have smaller items. They have TWO locations right down the street from each other because they have so much inventory! PS. I never comment on KZread videos and I hardly follow anyone but you are one of my favorite channels.. Still cackling over the “Jesus Marrying Joseph” comment. Love your vlogs too. Sending you much appreciation.💙

One of my favorite new things I've seen with those antique dresser-mirrors (that sat flat on the dresser) is to mount them on the wall UPSIDE DOWN -- and then you have an odd shaped mirror and can use the flat 'stand' as a shelf for plants/vases/decor. 🤯

That salvage place is so similar to one in Jacksonville, Florida, where I live! It’s called Eco Relics. I found the centerpiece of my kitchen there - a 1955 Maytag Dutch Oven….GAWGEOUS!!!! (That’s Southern for gorgeous.) I absolutely adore that mirror that you bought! It is so perfect on your mantle. I love the diamond-shaped cut mirrors on the bottom. You showed the oil painting in place of the mirror over the small chest next to the fireplace, but you had moved the “new” mirror from over the mantle! Aaaggghhhh….why?!?! I definitely think you would be crazy to get rid of the new mirror. It obviously belongs over the mantle! Move the other mirror somewhere else - put the door; I don’t care where . I really like the hurricane lamp too. It looks good everywhere that you put it. This was fun! (KEEP THE MIRROR OVER THE FIREPLACE!!!! Otherwise, I WILL hunt you down!) Mwaah. Blessings! 💋❤️
