Thank you so much for this kind message! The truth is I get a TON of help. My husband is really hands on! He cooks, does laundry and is generally way more hard working than me! Also, my kids are older. I don't think I could do what I do now when my kiddos were little. One thing I do work hard at doing, is going with the flow and being able to pivot when necessary...which seems to happen almost daily! Lol!

Hokas are most definitely a great pickup. Both of my kids ran Cross Country all 4 years of High School. My daughter needed to go to a specialty shoe store to be properly fitted and have custom insoles made. They put her in Hoka Ones her first year and we bought a new pair every year thereafter because they corrected her issues immediately. Great shoes.

Oh!! You went to that market!! Slightly jealous but also excited to thrift again with you VERY soon!! That Prada dress...beautiful!!!

My daughter wears long lightweight blazers all the time! She teaches autistic kids since the pandemic and she actual goes to work. She went to brunch and wore one there too! So some folks might be looking for blazers.....longer ones without buttons.

This was such a nice video Lori! Jay is just like my husband when we go "thrifting" or shopping. He drops me off and goes to get some coffee and reads his book. The "Hermes" vest is really cute. Do your research and go from there, my personal feeling is that's not real...but of course, I could be wrong. Love the Prada dress, very edgy! And that coat!! Just loved this video! Interesting how they use the color zip ties. Still have not been out thrifting, having a lot of luck with my estate sale auctions! As soon as I get my shots and things settle down, will be doing a thrifting trip all over! All the best to you!

That’s what Tom and I do, he drops me off too, sometimes he will go in then he’s done in 10 or 15 minutes. He’ll go in another store or chill in the car with his phone for a little while.. but like you said then I try to hurry a bit. So we are both lucky that way! We have great guys!!

Hokas are true! Im a runner and yes. I buy all my shoes online and look for them all the time. They’ll go quick!

I wish my thrift stores have that much room on the racks that you can see what's on there. Our racks are so crammed, that you can't find anything. It is a struggle to get something out to look at it and a bigger struggle to put it back. Love your haul videos!!

I went to your fave shop in Waltham when I went to Boston over Thanksgiving break. My husband and kids dropped me off to shop. Before I knew it they were blowing up my phone asking if I was finished shopping. A bit annoyed, I asked them why they were rushing me, (since my husband promised he wouldn’t). My husband responded, “Rushing you? It’s been over 3 hours that the kids and I have been waiting for you in the car!” 🤷🏻‍♀️ It only felt like an hour. Thanks for sharing your thrift trips so we can check them out too.

I found a Bob Mackie jacket/blazer at the bins, didn't think it would sell but it did.

I too was concerned that you wouldn't maximize the value of that Ugg jacket. List up I was saying....and I'm so glad you did. Leslie (A Resellers Passion) got an Hermes scarf in a scarf box from ThredUP. It turned out to be real and she totally scored! Take the chance! Hope you had a wonderful holiday season.

If those Hokas are in good condition, you should easily get around $60. Runners are used to paying $130 new for them. Many runners will not wear anything other than Hokas. Don't sell them too cheaply.

In our stores there are very few workout leggings. It would be a shock to see that many here. I found lululemon twice in 2 years. I did find girlfriend collective- they had no idea what it was so it was $3!

Shoes are some much cheaper in your area! I sell college sweatshirts! I sold Cornell & Michigan from the bins...

I have one piece that has also been sitting for a long time.

My husband goes into the thrift store for maybe 10 or 15 minutes, then he leaves! I usually go by myself if I can! 😍 I love him dearly but I need to thrift without him!

I would recommend you download the Poshmark App and take a few pics and list them. It's super easy! I have a link to poshmark in my description. Mercari is pretty easy when it comes to listing too, but I don't have much experience there. Good luck!

I found a Hermes Evelyn bag at my good will a few months ago. It was beautiful and it looked in my opinion spot on. But I thought how could this even possibly be fake. But It was a fake thou. I learned so much about Hermes thru this process thou. I hope yours is real 🤞

I have a fake that I bought myself for $10 when I was thrifting in Canada. It's red. It's so good a fake that people compliment me on it all the time. lol so I just smile and say thank you while laughing on the inside. I bought it because I loved the bag and the color but it's amusing to see how many people treat me differently because they think it is real.

I definitely did skip over some Lululemon. They always have them at this store, and they are usually priced at $20 (or more). I wanted GymShark for my daughter, which is the only reason I paid as much as I did for those. I may take more time the next time I go to find valuable leggings in that section b/c it's the NEW YEAR!! Woohoo, bring on 2021! Thanks for watching!

12.99 for leggings!!!! I know you’ve thrifted in NYC I thrift at the 8th Street and 14th Street goodwill in Manhattan all leggings no matter the brand 7.99 and I think that’s to much ☹️

I agree, at my goodwill all leggings are 1.69 before tax. I supposed it depends on the demographic of where you live though.

omg those weird plastic bands would drive me nuts. that cannot be productive for them to spend so much time putting those on.....

I'm sure Hermes vest is real. It's not the item that's faked, like a scarf or a purse.
