The basket is a handbag! When I was in middle school in the 1970s, we all had these! We ran ribbons to match our outfits through the holes around the rim and then put small silk scarves over the top to conceal our belongings.

My house is full of antiques. Yes, they are wonderful. New furniture just doesn’t give the same feel to your home. Great haul! 🥰👍

Hi Miranda! I have long used platters (All about the size of the white ones you thrifted!) for picnics or cookouts! Usually summer food takes up quite a bit of room on a plate (Especially if you include corn on the cob or hamburgers with big rolls!) and using platters give you plenty of room for side dishes and maybe even a glass of iced tea! I have used different colors and patterns, but I like the old diner/restaurant pieces of ironstone! 😄

I LOVE the PLATTERS! Yes, I have several and just Love them!

That would make such a lovely summer statement. You could tie a scarf on it too to match the lovely summer dresses you got in your last haul. That little girl spotted you and was bowled over by how pretty you looked! Girl Power! 💞💖

The teapot is beautiful, I love having a pot of tea with a sweet treat or having high tea when guests come over. My Scottish great-aunt used to have a tea trolley and she would set out the 2nd best tea set (the best was saved if the Queen came to visit .....hahahahaha) when we would come for a visit as a child and she would always have some sweet fresh baked cake or scones with homemade jam. I have a tea trolley on my bucket list 🙂

I love tea pots as well. I have that one in red and white. Can’t go wrong with a blue and white tea pot!

Maranda, that restaurant wear will last forever! I love the platters you can use them for so many things. I also feel like I go back in time as I browse. I don't know why but I have always been drawn to different dishes and serving pieces myself. I have dishes for the summer, fall and then winter lol I recently said enough!!

Great finds. The little basket is sometimes used for a lunch basket in Germany. I know someone German who carries hers. So very cute. I like your idea too for your dressing room. That tea pot is beautiful.
