My husband is ALSO a CRT tv enthusiast! That blue Barbie jet from near the beginning: I had that as a child and one time my hamster escaped her enclosure and hid in the jet. Seeing all the store displays was super cool! I used to have some from Gamestop (the Soul Silver one was my favorite) before moving across the country. :D

Wow a Juku Couture and Top Model doll new in box out in the wild, rare finds.

I went on my own antique journey, and I found a robot doll called The Gurlz. It came out when I was young, but I totally forgot about them until I saw it sitting at a booth 😂. Great Video!

The detour to that section with the retro gaming stuff was my favourite part of this vid omg. It's like I was there nerding out with you guys. So many cool finds!

I think the Barbie at 8:50 is one of the Rapunzel dolls from the 90s. I found one at a thrift store years ago and she is amazing!

Yep, Rapunzel Barbie from 1997, one of the earliest playline dolls with the Mackie sculpt. She was one of my favorites back then.

You both have heelies on, the coolest couple Ever, (don't tell my hubby)! If I wasn't a klutz I would wear heelies. I have an antique mall near me, and the boxed Barbies are $100....yes I said $100. They are out of their ever lovin mind, and will never sell them. ewww, gross, throw that sugar daddy away! Great haul!

​@@xCanadensisthere are still dolls there for over 2 years that I have been going there. The owner of the mall said he doesn't like the place to be a storage unit. Well talk to me, I would buy those dolls but not at those prices. So I ended up going to "once upon a child" to get my dolls at a decent price. 😊

This was a great trip! Loved seeing the Pokemon finds!! The seller that had the Pokemon merch, had the coolest stuff! Some things I've never seen before, like ferris wheel, Cabbage Patch Garden Fairies, ect!

I have a 4 panel humongous Block Buster display of street fighter that takes up a wall in my collector room

The Barbie with the crown at 8:49 is Rapunzel from 1997, you can see her again in box at 34:10 so funny to see Barbie in the Nutcracker Eric near the Sugar Plum Princess Hallmark ornament! Those Barbie aisles is a *DREAM* 😩 there’s nothing like that here so definitely jealous ESPECIALLY of the Barbie Of Swan Lake plush ahha 🥺 there’s a similar, smaller scaled ones that came with Carlita in her skunk form and Lila from the original 2003 line, and one that came a little later with a more budget version of Odette from the Fantasy Tales Princess Collection, that also included Clara and Rapunzel with Marzipan and Penelope respectively. Also Peaches N Cream Barbie has always been stupid expensive, even reproductions cost around $200-600. I was lucky to find an og in box for under AUD $200 for my mum about two years ago, but I imagine the Barbie movie hasn’t helped and it pains me to think of it 😭

The Priscilla and Elvis dolls are so fun. Would love to get them !! Porcelain rabbit was gorgeous too. Great stuff.

Holiday Barbies are so fun to me because I feel like they really reflect their times! The early 90s were still so 80s with the huge hair and party dresses, while the mid 90s had this really interesting historical/victorian vibe that I really love. Late 90s through 2010 feel pretty consistently runway, and then for some reason around the mid 2010s the gowns get simpler with less accessories. I had the 1997 doll as a kid, though I didn't know she was a Holiday Barbie until years later since she was from a garage sale and in pretty rough condition lol. A couple years ago when I got into collecting again I got the 1994 doll as a birthday present to myself since that's my birth year, and a few months ago I actually found the 1989 doll in the bags at a thrift store! She was in surprisingly good condition, just missing the bow (I was able to make a new one), and now she's one of my favorite finds!

So envious you have places to go to find these hauls. It was fun to go on the adventure!

Great haul. I have Wave 1 and 2 of the Juku Couture dolls. Love them. Integrity started with playline in late 90s early 2000s. They had some 14" dolls. Janay and friends were their fashion doll line. I bought the fashion packs for LMM. Some of the pieces work well on other dolls.

At 1:08 in the video the Barbie that you were obsessed with was my first Happy HOLIDAY Barbie in 92?93?or 94? On back in small print in corner.retailed for $29.99.I stored a ton of Happy Holiday Barbies seen in this minute (except the 2010 one). I was basically a storage unit for people to have these Barbies today and it makes me sad that people can't even get hardly $30 asking price.Such a shame beautiful Barbies that were not a return for their buck.But very beautiful. Those antique malls look so fun! Pretty much all my classmates are going on a multiple-week long student exchange program to the US this year and I am mourning my doll hunting opportunities (bc I've decided not to go). But then I remember that I found some grails here as well, so it's ok I guess. P.S. those Filly ponies FLOOD every second hand place ever where I live. I don't collect them but I always look through the bins and bins of them in search of Blind Bag MLPs. They are never in there, but I keep looking.

Bruhhh I need to check out Prattville Pickers place! I still have my older brothers' Pokémon marbles with the large Pokeball shooter, but I'm not sure which sack(s) they had unfortunately. Galoob is primarily known for their Spice Girls dolls, and the Babie with the weird crown is Rapunzel Barbie! Hit Clips were 100% one of my fav things growing up! I had a light blue clip-on one that had Smash Mouth's All Star included, but as my siblings ended up getting some too we had Britney Spears' Hit Me Baby and Oops I Did I Again, NSYNC's Bye Bye Bye, and Aaron Carter's Come Get It Ended up trading them all at some point though...The yellow outfit that Barbie's wearing in the generic doll case is a Brooke Shields outfit for her doll by LJN, known for making the large rubber wrestlers and a few video games! 300 is definitely not worth it...and 100 would certainly be pushing it considering the only one of true "value" is Peaches N Cream, and Mayyybe the rockers if they're complete. I did see one if the Malibu Kens (Sensational, and the like), but he's also not worth too much loose. If I read the price right, I'd so pay $20 for Toy Story 2 Barbie! I think I have only her outfit too lmao. I neeeed the Hamtaro house oml. I have like, 3-5 blue Nascar Barbies in box and one of them I opened because her box was traaaashed. Also that middle finger with Ms Swan was so outta pocket I almost died xD

I just googled it and apparently it is an Odette as a swan plushie from the Barbie Swan Lake movie. That's what I gave Google to work with and I found it immediately. Hope this helps

They seem to sell for a lot less lately but sellers continue to price them too high. Certain characters sell for more than others. I think Jasmine stays cheap because none of her LE’s aside from the D23 ones are really worth much compared to other characters.
