We were given an antique iron for a wedding gift...so it's a really old piece now...since we have had it for 54 years!!! Love the precious tulip basket!!! I will be spending a couple of weeks thrifting in a few weeks on our annual trip to Hilton Head, S.C.!!!! Need me to look for anything for you?

Oh and hay. You could use command strips to hang up wash board over top of panel box.I did.2 of the 15 lb.ones worked good and no nail holes

Lots of great vintage finds 😊 Love all the cast irons you shared and the interesting old clothes pins. Never seen any like that before. Great find. The scrub brush you purchased works great to scrub clean cast iron skillets. (FIY Only clean cast iron with hot water and kosher salt, dry completely and add a small amount of olive oil on the inside of the pan to season it, then it’s ready for use) I know you didn’t buy or share a cast iron skillet in this video, I just wanted to add this info for you. Ohhh goodness those clothes pins are awesome, never seen those type ones! Do you know the year they're from? I know they're super old! Everyone is finding the accordian racks, I've looked everywhere with no luck🫤 I have several of the old cast iron irons with the iron handle, but i want a wooden handed one to add to them, they're a bit older I'm pretty sure. I like the one you put water in too, would love to add one of those as well. That's the cutest basket ever😊 I love butter molds too, any old kitchen things really! My washboard was in my last antique store hill..I have it on a stool leaning against the wall, styled with a little vignette. I see them standing & leaning in different ways so maybe you could do something like that for now?🤷‍♀️ Thanks for sharing all your awesome finds!

The heavy irons are called sad irons. In English ‘sad’ meant solid. 😮 thus the name. I was thinking had sad I would be if I dropped it on my toe!
