I LOVE miniatures! I've been building
BEAUTIFUL AT THE END PULLING ALL THE PIECES TOGETHER
Yes! I love seeing you put together vignettes. Thank you for your ideas.
Melanie I really enjoy and learn so much from (to quote you) your "simpler, down to earth" videos like this one. And I would really love to see one devoted totally to staging and vignettes.
Yes! I have also painted mats. Great find on the frame with mats
I made candles years ago after watching my Aunt. Find someone who's done it, or watch You Tube video then just jump in and do it! Play with it until you find the scent ratio you like. I like a subtle scent. Wax is flammable and you could burn yourself, so that is a concern. I always used a double boiler method, an old can in an old pot of water. I LOVE your vignettes! I know what I like, I don't always know how to display it pleasingly. Thanks for helping!
i am hooked...keep up the info!!!!
Yes, I’m a wanna learn all
Well dang, I have a Matt cutter but I never thought about painting the Matt. I’ll be doing that. LOVE the lil child’s rocker.
Thank you! I'm updating my little store and this is exactly what I needed to watch!... As for the candles... Don't overthink it! 😃 Prep your container, get your prepared wick set (I've seen people use stickers, glue gun, or just add it after the wax is poured into shallow containers.) Melt the wax, add enough scent that it smells good to you, and pour the wax in, I take a piece of foil to hold the wick in place; I just have it about an inch wide and poke a hole in the middle and then crimp it to the edges of container so the wick is centered. Good luck! I'll be watching for the sugar bowl candles!
I had the exact same reaction to candle making. Wanted to try it, researched, bought materials which was not cheap. Hubs took pity on me and helped. Poured into cute stoneware mugs. Scent was subtle coffee and also pumpkin spice. Priced each at $14.95 which would have just recouped my investment but haven’t sold any. Kind of a bummer but now I know. 😊
I loved this video! I am trying to level up on staging in my booth! That first vignette was perfect! Thank you! Happy Tuesday! 🧡🤎💛
Thanks
Oh my gosh! I so get what you are saying about learning new things! You sound just like me. I think you are right about the perfectionist thing! It stops me dead in my own tracks. You are the sweetest and an inspiration to me! I have a small booth too…in a tourist area…hour and a half outside of Chicago. I’m doing all the right things (I’m good at vignettes!). But it’s going so so…that’s it. I’m upstairs and the mall also sells wine. My husband thinks they are there to drink?? I don’t know. But truly you are awesome! Love and listen to everything you say and do!❤️
Love the vignettes.
I am the same way. To the point where I keep putting off projects until I feel 100% ready. Once I do a project, I realize it wasn't that hard and I shouldn't have waited.
Painting mats! Light bulb moment! We have a thrift store that has oodles of old prints at reasonable prices. I've stood in front of them and puzzled over what I could do with them. . . and now I know! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks so much for the part of staging...one of my problems...especially when taking pictures...WOW
OMG 😳 this will be a funny conversation at the table with my wife tonight.
Thanks for posting.
