Rachel: each project was spot on! The pumpkin turned out quite nice. And the redo on the bench box with the transfer that was added, really made a difference. I have no problem when a project takes a while to do. What matters is the finish look at the end. What’s the rush? Redoing it is the fun, even when it’s your business. Very nice work! Love both! I've decoupaged several pumpkins and it's just like how you did it, piecing and patching and wrinkles and that's the charm of them. Such a good job. I sometimes sit them on small candle sticks and paint them according, not my idea but it's lovely. I so look forward to Tuesdays and Fridays!! ❤

It was a fun project for sure - I really wasn't too sure how to go about it or where to start, but it didn't take too long to get the hang of it, lol. I will definitely keep it in mind for the future! And I actually have a candle holder with a nice wide platform that I was thinking of painting a coordinating color to use as a riser for it. :) Thank you so much!!

Now I wish I had picked up almost the dame pumpkin at my senior center on Monday. Chances are when I go on Thurs it'll still be there. I absolutely love how it came out. No its not to much. I think its perfect and if I recall I have a similar napkin from home goods. Now the bench, OMG how I hope to find one just like it. I love ot and I love the transfer. I have always enjoyed small pieces like that. The painting was definitely necessary and it really freshened up the whole look. Thank you for all your enthusiasm and inspiration. Dont swear a 3rd project the ones you did were amazing. ❤❤❤

Hi Rachel, OMG❣️❣️❣️The pumpkin is gorgeous❣️ The bench box is such an unusual piece. Have never come across something like that. What fun it would be to add vignettes to it or just stand alone. You did a beautiful job on both of them.

The pumpkin is lovely, I did a similar one last fall and it is one of my favorites.

Ok Rachel, your pumpkin turned out fantastic! I tried to deco podge on a foam pumpkin, what a disaster! LOL I see that a ceramic pumpkin is in my future. You are so brave taking on hand painting the spindles on your bench. I would have taken the easy way out and sprayed it with a flat black. Oh my gosh, the bench turned out wonderful! That transfer made it just that much cuter than it was. Love that you kept the look of it. Please stay cool during our heat wave. I have lost just over 7 pounds from sweating this past week. Ugh (I needed it though) Can't wait to see you again on Friday.

I hadn't ever seen one like it, either. I was actually a little startled when I pulled it down off the shelf at Goodwill and it opened, lol!! Thank you!!!

I wonder if you made a template of the sections of the pumpkin and cut the napkin in that shape before applying it might make it easier? Might take longer 😩 Could be a total waste 🤷🏻‍♀️ Off to find some pumpkins and napkins I guess 😂

Lol - I just went for it. The only thing I did was to tear the napkin into large strips to make it a bit easier to lay down. It was a bit messy, but it was fun - I would definitely do it again!! :) I hope you try it!! Good luck!! :)
