Man I just listened to this and I really love it. Tons of stellar riffs and aggression I also like the vocals. Love when they slow down like in Listening Ear and 12-22-09! Somewhere between 4 and 4.5/5 for me. Thanks for the recommendation :)
Stellar album indeed. Cloud Rat doesn't disappoint
The vocal performance puts every DSBM release in its place.
Thank you for the review! I am definitely going to check out Cloud Rat👍👍🤘🤘
Yeah I love Cloud Rat. I thought Pollinator was a great record. But I gotta say I think this album is their best. 12-22-09 I fucking LOVED with how dark and sludgy it was. I feel like every song is very unique and also really good. Honestly I’ll give this a 4.5/5 to
Great Michigan grind. I need to pick it up. The last one was awesome.
Im a huge fan of grindcore and I have never heard of this band. Gonna have to check it out.

My first Metal Meltdown review as a married man, and I’m glad it’s on one of my favorite albums of the year. I just got married last night, so I’m watching this on the way to our honeymoon destination lol

@@themetalmeltdownofficial Thanks, man! I appreciate that! Of course I was spending time with my wife, but you know I had to sneak in a little bit of The Metal Meltdown before we went on our honeymoon.
This album shows me why I don’t tend to like other grindcore releases. The level of unhinged creative chaos is something beautiful here, where other bands tend to always feel “paint by numbers” and “keep in line”. Good god I love this thing. 5/5

Hell yes my dude
I like this one better than the Callous Daoboys
What is some of the most memorable grind in recent years for you guys? I'm into Wormrot, Insect Warfare, Cloud Rat, Fuck the facts, Chepang, Gravesend... that sort of stuff if that helps

I´m really into "Psudoku" and those other Projects from Steinar Kittelsen like "Brutal Blues" and stuff. Quite technical or proggy, not too dark, though still extremely argry, a lot of Keyboards (sounds strange, i know, but doesn´t kill the brutality, overall just a very nice blast to Your ears. Definitely worth checking out. Though the best Grind band to me still is "Contrastic". They have not been too busy the latest years, but their self titeled 2000 debut Album to me is still like the greatest bit of Grindcore to be out there. Nothing for the purist, for they mix a lot with whatsoever, but, that´s just how i like it. Even more into Grind - Crossover would be "Clown Core". Two amazing musicians doing the humour of grind without being too much into the grind sound, though it is definitely there too. - If You want to check them out, try their visual albums, especially "Toilet", though "Van" is great too. And i should mention "Japanische Kampfhörspiele" from germany too, they are releasing great album after great album since about 20 years remaining quite unnoticed around the world. Maybe, that´s because they have german lyrics, but ... really ... understanding the lyrics might not be the most important thing in Grind, is it? Oh yeah ... and i still jam this new "Pharmacist" record from time to time.
The new Firtan album "Marter", pls!! (And thank you). If there's anyone who id love to review that album, its you my guy.
You should listen to the new Knoll record if you haven't already.
Better than that Wormrot album earlier this year??? I must listen to this album first thing in the morning!

I would argue yes, but both are great.
I like this album but I think the best Grind-oriented releases this year came from Knoll and Wormrot.

I have never been able to get into Grindcore. It’s just too chaotic for me. The only pure Grindcore album I’ve ever enjoyed is scum. I might listen to this, but Doubt that it will change my feelings at all
Dammit your 2 for 2 with your Grindcore and I never liked it! Thanks needed a reason to like the damn stuff!
Abadon Incarnate...Wormrot...Cloud Rat...And i'm actually surprised with myself...i don't like grindcore that much...
I found escuela grind - memory theater more interesting 👍
wormrot is the best gridcore album of 2022
