The best way i can tell you to fix it is a few things. So if you coat it with Acrylic finisher its basically a clear coat that covers it and stops it from flaking. If its to far gone , i had to scrape all of my pleather off of one of my old hot toys figures and i used black leather paint. ( the paint i used is in a few vids on youtube) but it will never have that shiny look if you repaint it) You have to do a few coats but after a while it looks pretty darn good. Last for any knew figure you get that has fake or real lether use 303. It protects it from cracking ect. There is a few vids on the items i mention on KZread. I've done all 3 and every new figure i get that has fake lether i coat it every 6 months or 4 with 303 and i covered a brand new figure ( nebula ) with that clear coat finisher i was talking about so i never have to worry about her flaking. Oh man that's great advice! thank you! I appreciate it, i'm going to def look up stuff and start trying to save it. I have nothing else to give to my grandkids, only these figures :-D

He was gonna make Rick cut carls arm and used that marker to mark where to cut it

Thank you for the very good video. Is your faux leather jacket in good condition? I heard that artificial leather breaks down over time.

Even though it was unopened, the leather condition is quite good for a figure that was released more than 5 years ago.

You've read my mind! I had to repack them for my move, and I had him the thumbnail position with the bat behind his neck. When I went to put him back in museum pose for the box, the leather on the bent arm was in bad shape! I was so sad! I am going to show it in an upcoming video chronicling the move. I wish some third company made the exact same jacket! Anyway, thanks for the view and comment!
