I agree. It's a shame the watch can't be purchased.

This is why this is the best watch channel on KZread. No one else covers unique pieces like this. Most watch channels only cover the same old boring brands like Rolex, Omega, Tudor and so on... this guy here is a true watch ART lover.

Yes, Andreas is behind many well known watches and movements including very famous brands and pieces. I love his watches.

What a fantastic episode! That Moritz Grossmann is something else. I love the hues but also how the guilloche isn't centered radially. Truly something different. $60k euros??? I was expecting so much more....

To be able to meet your guest Boris Pjanic & to be introduced to watches this way is something so many of your subscribers want. If I had a choice of which watch to buy tomorrow it would be the...(I will need another few weeks to decide whether it is the Moritz Grossman or the Alchemists, then again the Strehler...no the Grossman!

@@BorisPjanic Apologies for the confusion & now my long response: What I meant was that if I had to choose ONE watch from the 3 you presented, then it would be very hard for me to do, as they are all extremely beautiful. Having said all that, I now think it would be the Moritz Grossman, due to the extremely unique way it was designed with your personal input. Actually the way that the minute & hour hands DO NOT line up precisely at the upper part of the surround to the "dots" because of the uneven width of the outer circle, ADDS to the design, in my humble opinion. There is something ironic in the fact that you & the watchmakers have created an extremely accurate & precise instrument, only to knowingly allow for some non precise element as a compromise for the amazing Sunset effect on the dial. A touch of humanity if you like! I believe we will meet sometime & perhaps I will be lucky enough to purchase a watch like this.

In the heat process of the hand or really any heat anodizing its your browns and bronze first then at a greater heat you will get into the blues and violets. Thats if they are steel titanium us all done with electrical current submerged in distilled water

I don’t have a list and I wouldn’t advise them for investment purposes. If u want to invest your money go on the stock market or start a business.

He sort of reminds me of the actor Toby Jones.

These people - Strehler, Voutelanen, Dufour etc. are wizards.

Good googly-moogly! Each of those watches is stunning, but the Alchemist is mesmerizing. Needless to say, I can't afford any of them. Champagne tastes on a kool-aid budget.

There is probably more inspiration from Bovet where the watchmaker was working for 17 years... the watch is still in its own world. The watchmaker was a student of Philippe Dufour as well.

42 hours is not an acceptable power reserve for a high horology watch.
