Very nice. Accepting that others in the company know more than oneself was echoed by Henry Ford in the past which Mahindra ji is emphasizing. Humility helps to become strong in listening. Brevity and clarity is the soul of wit. People appreciate wisdom expressed as wit. He has successfully reached the nextgen via Twitter. Think deeply and express briefly is a skill to develop step every step. Observe, Analyze, Learn from mistakes and success points. Be Self-aware. Thanks Mahindra ji.

Things which I learned from this video:- 1.Humility-When you are not humble,you stop listening to everyone and this will leads you to stop learning anything new. And at the ending of this point,He suggest to Thanks everyone whosoever help them in their tough times. 2.Brevity:-One of the best things which he said was,Think Deeply but speak briefly. 3.Self-Knowledge:-What he means by this is the knowledge of own self. And also told his parents advised who told him to not follow or set one person as his role model and by following this advice he further mention that he always try to learn from everyone. And recommend to everyone to considering as person by whose failure and success people can learn not to consider him as their role model.

The first and foremost thing is to be humble in our attitude while dealing with others. The second thing I have learnt is the listening power.

A very good word to learn from different role model and to be a composite person. A very deep meaning is there in this. Salute you.

Such an inspiring speech for budding enterpreners. At a time when 24*7 news channels have filled us with hatred and negativity, I feel peace in his words when he talked about humility.

While HBS - Humility, Brevity, Self Knowledge is the takeaway, what I loved the most is Mr. Mahindra demonstrating his humility while concluding - '... the I will be very gratified that the time I have taken from you here, will have been well spent.' This example of humility from a legendary personality made my day :)

Very well put in words by Mr. Mahindra, we don’t need to pluck stars and moon but just to be open and identify to work on basics. For example , this is a fancy thought that raisins are expensive so taking them can improve your health but even spinach is does that works better which is damn affordable.

His speech is a "Business Geetha". A marvellous speech or is it a literary masterpiece?

After listening to their Chairman, I am beginning to understand, why Mahindra products are blindly trusted by the rural poor and the adventurous rich alike. I must learn from him. I am buying a Thar 🚙 this year.

It seems to be true ..the success parameters are heavily inclined to materialistic gain and that too a centering on considerable improvement on self asset creation goal overtly or covertly..That is why nowadays, clash between real intelligence and a fake cleverness is visible truth.. The difference is much manifest between lip service and actual practice..A decent life therefore, is seen in the backdrop of excessive affluence which always put before us a question on source and our socialistic chanting of its distribution part ..

A good thought provoking speech by a leader.

Most of India's problems would have been solved if technical excellence is recognised over the academic MBA excellence ie Field excellence shoud be recognised over arm chair philosophy theory excellence. One could not understand why qualified engineering technical holding masters degree pursue management studies by abandoning their God Gifted Technical knowledge.

I understand where you are coming from.. but as you aspire to higher positions you need to begin to become leaders of people. To do stuff you can always recruit from engineering colleges. But to be able to lead people/organisations effectively is a gift.. few have this.

Humility is useful, called-for & in order ONLY when you are NOT humble enough. Otherwise, it is a poison and to be avoided like a plague. It is your self assured self confidence & cocky arrogance which can see you through the rough & tumble of life, if you are not blessed enough to have a pedigree like that of Anand Mahindra.

MBA is a management mantra of the last century a.k.a 20th century. In this century to be a successful manager you need not be an MBA graduate. Many goes to best MBA school to become job seeker. A few exception who ends up at MBA school in search of their goal, would do well without MBA too if they continued to follow their heart and imagination.

As a speech which motivates is excellent. BUT once these MBAs are out then only one aim in life is MONEY MONEY that is it. Per Year running rate is 3 lakhs -- for 15 years MBA their salary must be in touching Rs 1 crore that is the measure that is it IIT JEE 159 rank student joins IIT MADRAS studies electrical engineering - Goes to USA studies economics and becomes RBI Governor or CEA. Now what a waste of education ?.. WHY at all they studied electrical engineering at first place WHy then went to economics -- the only answer is MONEY and MONEY It is not so fashionable to question these people who are supposed to be brilliant and God Gifted. To me the action-oriented people who made CHNDRAYAN 2 successful those engineers from PSG college Coimbatore, Gindy college. UVCV Bangalore is great motivation than this MONEY MINDED MBAs iIT KANPUR people all are in USA - Kanpur is still a village -- Once Jairam Ram Ramesh made this famous statement. INDIA can improve ONLY by grounded people under the great leadership of PM MODI, not by these MBAs who will stick Rate card on their forehead soon

Well said ..These people don't give proper hike to employees.I think this is the problem with all the Indian companies.They are only concerned about their profit and just for namesake they do some charity work and help poor.If these people are really concerned then they should give atleast give proper hike to their employees.These things will be known by the person who has worked in Mahindra group of Industries like Tech Mahindra , Mahindra & Mahindra..Plz Mr Mahindra don't give these speeches...First try to rectify the problem in Ur own company.Then only give these speeches.

Why can't you start a small business and give more salary ?? It's easy to find fault.. you can't even change or meet expectations of your family members or relatives. How to change a organisation and make it grow after paying huge salaries to meet your expectations. People at the top have their own priorities and can't look at each and every micro details. They can only create a eco system but there will be few fools and theifs when you employ 200000 plus people. I thank God that he is spreading wisdom which is helpful to people like me.
