I’ve gone totally grey ! I told myself it’s just hair ! It doesn’t define me ! It’s not war torn ! It’s not terminal ! It’s superficial ! And if I don’t like it I can add a Colour !!

Fascination - oh, I hear you! When I stopped coloring I had no idea what color my hair was. That seemed a weird thing not to know about myself. And, sure enough, it was completely different than I imagined. I pictured thick glorious silver streaks. Um. Not so much. I have silver babylights sprinkled all over amongst a lot of brunette, and I’m only maybe 60% gray. Then I decided to stop heat styling so it could be as healthy as possible while I grew my length back. And discovered it is not the stick straight hair I thought I had my whole freakin’ life! So 7 years after beginning this journey I have slightly wavy, salt & pepper, healthy hair down to my butt. And I wouldn’t change a moment of what brought me to this moment, I’ve never loved my hair more!

Lol! I love that you’re obsessed with everyone’s gray journey 💗 I began growing mine out in January 2022 and my husband chuckled because I was obsessed with my own hair and everybody else’s 😊😅 I’m almost done now as my hair is in a bob so hopefully a couple more trims will do it!!!!

Been thinking about it a while now...customers I wait on have done it and love it...I'm 82 now...have been dying my hair since I was in my 20's...have to take a deep breath to do this but maybe it will be as gorgeous as everyone I saw on this video...also worried about what dye has done to my body1!!

I quit dying my hair a couple of months ago. I haven't felt motivated to color. Last week, I decided I want to start growing my grey hair out. My hair grows too fast to color it every 4-6 weeks. I can wait to see the end result. I have an appointment next Tuesday to get grey blending done. I don't have the patience to let it grow out cold turkey. Getting a pixie cut was definitely not an option for me. It looks great on the woman that choose that route.

I hope you love what your stylist does!! I had an awful experience and had to start all over. I've been cold turkey ever since! :D

Its been 7 months since I did a shag on my blond hair to reveal the grey- I love it so much. Its so different and easy compared to dying my hair.

Wow nice mam, now a days premature gray hairs are common. Actually gray hairs are healthy hairs. I'm also going gray and i like not to use chemicals on my head. Thanks for your video mam.

The only Reason why we think Grey is no good, is because for centuries we were brainwashed, so that we keep buying very bad Colourshampoo,s.....Grey is beautiful! and natural....I have grown to love this new colour. Forget about colour shampoo....enjoy the silver in your hair. it feels much softer and belongs to us on a certain age. So yeah, enjoy it!
