    I have only been watching your videos for about a year now. Finally going back and watching your older ones. I really enjoyed watching this adventure. I'm going to watch the Timberline videos next.

    Awesome man thanks!. I feel like I look not very happy in all those videos... the solo across country thing made me act more serious I think. Haha. Ps thanks for joining patreon if that is you. Appreciate it! New stuff coming on that platform👍👍

    I didn't see it that way, I'm sure you were just really in the moment. The patreon is not so much for getting additional content (though that is great), but to help you out a little in producing your content here.

    Hi Bryce - Thanks for making such an informative video. I'm wondering if there was cell-service on your trip or if you were reliant on the Spot for communicating your location with your family. I have AT&T and would love to avoid purchasing a satellite communicator if possible. Thanks!

    Woo- enjoyed watching this one. It will take me WAYYYY longer than it took you-but I hike about as slow as a club footed turtle going through peanut butter. Question: Would this trail work for hammock camping? Or were there some spots that you would HAVE to have a tent?: ))- thanks and congratz on the 3 days!

  • @BryceNewbold

    @BryceNewbold

    4 жыл бұрын

    haha! thanks. I actually I thought it would be a tough trail for a hammocker. especially by moraine lake and green lakes.. not many options when you have to camp within 15 ft of site markers.. not to mention lots of trees are gigantic in circumference!

    I'm from OH as well. Western trails really are just better. AT may be harder than any other, and very few vistas for payoff. If you had to choose which thru hike to do, I think you'd have to choose PCT or something west, if you have the ability

    Heh.. 16:50.. checking permits. Right about when you discuss this, you just passed Minnie Scott Springs. Last summer I camped at a pond/tarn 1/8 mile E of PCT, 1/4 mile N of MSS’s. ‪On a late Sat. afternoon two FS emplyees bushwhacking, also way off trail, stumbled upon my camp, and then thought to ask to see my self-issued TH permit. They were not working. They were effing around. I do not like this form of policing. ‬Several years back at Golden Lake, you went past it on day one, same thing, ranger tracks my tent down far end of that lake and meadow, woke me up in my tent to check my permit. In 2020 and beyond, much more stringent permit system. USFS getting mjr push back. twitter.com/zachsoroutdoors/status/1225844674960732161?s
