Auditioning for Belle tomorrow for my school’s production of “beauty and the beast“, so I’m doing some research and this is a really high-quality production of it. Wish me luck, I really hope I get at least a call back. Update: I got called back for bell alongside 6 other girls, we had a lot of people audition so knowing theres not a lot of girls called back for bell makes me really happy, I also got called back for Mrs. Potts, and Madame de la Gran Bouche

I’ve gotten Gaston for my school play that we are doing this year. First of all, this is my first time into theater, and I really wasn’t expecting to even obtain my role 😭 whoever is doing this show for school or any kind of theatre I wish you all the bestest of luck. It as March as of now and our show is in mid April, I have to get my role more straightened than it already is

I really wish my schools theatre department was this big😭 we literally have 20 talented people and are trying to pull off this production by may. Coming from lumiere btw🙂

@@723missyoumissme Study the original Beauty and the Beast movie. Her voice has this weird nasally sound to it too. Like raise your voice a bit pitch wise and make it have some sort of nasally sound. Kinda like you’re being choked. I know that’s kinda weird but that’s how she sounds. She’s very sweet and rarely gets mad. She has attitude but doesn’t get mad.

I'm autistioning for the b1east but in a girl but there is not a lot of boys auditioning only 2 and they don't really act in jt whatscthe chance of me getting?

They cut “If I Can’t Love Her”???? That’s just a crime against musical theater! ( not sure if Disney cut this out of the junior version or if the school cut it out. ) One of the best moments in the show. The “narrators“ or whatever they were during the wolf fight were very distracting.… would have been better to just let the action explain itself. Cogsworth and Lumiere are great, and Belle and the Beast are excellent.

@@livingwithautism3789 congratulations! Being Belle was one of my favorite roles I’ve gotten. What I did was study the character. Study the way she walks, how she talks, and her facial and body expressions. Once you do that you’ve got it
