Three-point bending flexural test

In a 3-point bending flexural test, a standardized specimen is bent under uniaxial bending stress until plastic deformation or fracture occurs. In this way, strength parameters such as the flexural yield point, the flexural offset yield point, the ultimate flexural strength or the deflection at break are determined.     If the flexural strain formula is valid for only elastic deformation. How can we calculate flexural strain for plastic deformation?
