He’s really done it. Michael McDonald, the best backup singer of all time, has become a backup singer to himself! Amazing!

There was a time during the late 70's and early 80's that if a singer could get Michael McDonald to sing backing vocals on their song, it would become a huge hit.

Fallon is actually pretty good

The way Jimmy says "merrily" just kills me. And his and JT's obsession with Michael is hilarious. This skit never ceases to make me laugh :)

McDonald has a singular voice and mad musical skills, but he's a kind, humble man. I'm so glad he's still touring so that we can enjoy his work as long as possible.

This IS GOLD. I love Michael McDonald, and JT and Fallon did a great impression of him.
