My parents always sang this to my brother and I when we were little at bedtime too. I think they sang it for our sisters too or our sisters would sing it with them to us sometimes if we went to bed early.

My mum used to sing this to me, from a young age she has since sadly died but listening to this song never fails to make me smile.

My mum used to sing this to me as a lullaby and I used to watch this film growing up , THE NOSTALGIA

My dad sung this song to me when I was little. I’m 14 now and this popped up in my recommended for whatever reason and it brings me back to living in our old house when I was a little child.

Unarguably, one of the best scenes of that film. #JustSaying

I love that song, heard it as a kid from this movie and then used it on my own son when he as a baby. Crazy how a song can stay with you for all those years, great movie too!

I sung my version of the song to my baby girl every night and still do three years later :) Such great memories!

Is it just me or do these men seam sexier when they were singing that lullaby to that adorable baby?

My dad used to sing this to me and my younger brother late at night with his deep Barry White esque voice, albeit at a much slower tempo. I now sing this to my 2 year old twins on their restless nights. I miss you everyday pops and thank you.

It's a funny movie to rewatch, the first half is three guys taking care of a baby and being single, then the next half is some oddly connected dodgy drug heist caper

My mom went on trips for work a lot when i was little. But for every night that she was gone she would call me and my siblings and I distinctly remember her singing "Goodnight sweetheart well it's time to go I hate to leave you but I really must say goodnight sweetheart" my brother is about nine years older than me so he thought it was cheesy at the time but we were talking about it recently and he said he looked back at that as such a fond memory. I didn't even know it came from a movie until a couple years ago.
