Dar es Salaam, a major city and commercial port on Tanzania’s Indian Ocean coast, grew from a fishing village. The open-air Village Museum has re-created the traditional homes of local and other Tanzanian tribes and hosts tribal dancing. It’s part of the National Museum, which offers Tanzanian history exhibits, including the fossils of human ancestors found by anthropologist Louis Leakey.

Mwanza is a port city on the shore of Lake Victoria, in northern Tanzania. It's ringed by green hills. The city is known for unusual rock formations like Bismarck Rock, near the Kamanga Ferry Terminal. In the center of town are colonial buildings like the crumbling hilltop Dr. Robert Koch's House. The 1935 Indian Public Library, mosques, and Hindu temples reflect Indian influence. The Makoroboi area is full of shops.

Arusha is a city in East Africa's Tanzania, located at the base of volcanic Mt. Meru. It's a gateway to safari destinations and to Africa's highest peak, 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro, lying some 100 kilometers northeast. To the west lies Serengeti National Park, home to wildlife including lions, rhinoceros, giraffes, and leopards. Annual migrations feature huge herds of wildebeests crossing its plains.

The thing i love about TZ is that other cities apart from dar are well developed with great architecture...unlike here in kenya where other so called cities look like mere towns ... TZ is blessed 👏🏾

Though I am not fond of big cities anywhere, I find interesting the changes of these three cities since going to University in South Africa beginning of 1964, and with a brief holiday in Mwanza Dec. '64 to March '65. They were much smaller then. Thank you for posting this documentary.

Barabara za lami za kiwango bora ni gharama kubwa lakini kutokomeza ujenzi usio na ramani au hata mipangilio (mistari)ya mitaa ambayo gari linafika kila nyumba hii ndiyo changamoto kubwa ambayo haina gharama inahitaji amri na huamasishaji kwa wamiliki wauzao maeneo kwa ajili ya makazi. Kule milimani kumejaa majengoyaliyokosa mipango miji mfano wa takataka. Pia usishangae kesho Mji wa Mtumba ,Dodoma ukazungukwa na ghasia Kama hizi japokuwa eti Kuna idara za ardhi na mipango miji, wanafanya nini hawa mbwa?

Wow! I've seen many YT videos about Arusha. Almost all about going to Mt Kill. None of therm have showna city anywhere near this big or developed. Its more like a rustic large town in all those videos.

Tanzania has developed more on the north towards the Kenyan borderline because all these beautiful cities are near Kenya than any other neighboring countries

Using the same analogy, you could say Kenya is more developed to the south near the Tanzanian borderline since Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Kisii, and Eldorate are all southern Kenya.

@africandream_ Right, so Dar has our largest port and the largest population, Arusha and Moshi, are both near Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro, and Serengenti so they attract tourists. Zanzibar is a major tourist destination, Mwanza is a port city by Lake Victoria, and Mbeya is a port city by Lake Nyasa. Dodoma is our capital, so the development of these cities has nothing to do with their proximity to Kenya.
I can relate them with some Kenyan Villages
This is the worst Arusha drone I've seen
