@@shanesprinkle1628 Which makes zero sense, by the way. There was zero bad blood and Gontier just fully decided on his own that he wanted to do something different. I think older TDG with Adam is more deeper and depressing but like you said, the one with Matt is heavier and still good. It' s always difficult to find a new singer when they had their own typical style and really aren't to replace. It reminds me a bit of suicide silence. Mitch had his own style and with their new singer it changed. Of course he can't sound like Mitch but he's still good. And everyone's hating on him. I understand that we often prefer the old ones over the new but most people forget to just be thankful that they're still trying to make new music and move on. I like Three Days Grace. Old and new :)

I feel the same way. I'll listen to TDG with Matt or Adam, and I even like Adam's new band Saint Asonia. Do I miss when Adam was TDG's frontman? Of course I do. Do I wish he hadn't left? Yes, most definitely. Things are what they are, though, and as long as all parties involved are happy and making good music, that's all that really matters to me in the end.

There's a few vids I think on TDG's actual KZread channel where Matt sings some of the old songs, and I went and saw them with Matt before covid kicked off and he is a HELL of a frontman. The dudes energy, his vibe, his voice are all amazing. I was impressed with him all the way through and I think Matt is a badass. I have loved TDG since the start and I think with Matt they obviously sound different (vocally) but still a hell of a band kicking out some really good music.

Matt is steadily getting better since joining. This and Into The Abyss being by far my two favorite songs with Matt also lyrics are back to being TDG for sure (they were still very bad with outsider). I wanna see Matt scream a bit in a song or two (theres a little hint in this song it's very short but I heard a little growl in the guitar breakdown) as the ending in into the abyss was such a pleasant surprise.

I listened to 3DG when I was around 15, and this is when I felt like I connected with a lot of their songs. Now here I am 6 years later and still connecting. I love this band because no matter the vocalist, they still produce edgy, intense, heavy music without sacrificing being able to understand what is being said (like I find it hard to understand vocalists in the rap and death metal music genres).

Sins I have 11 years, I have listened to TDG, and I still feeling this kind of teenager energy of being Rebel, having something to scream or cry for, but still fighting for something better. Is that kind of band that remembers me the pain that I have felt but also, the strength and motivation to chase my dreams no matter what. There are not too many bands that makes me feel like this, that’s why TDG have always had such an important place in my life, even 8 years after hearing them for the first time. They inspire me, make me cry, make me feel alive again and also show me how to keep going on.

I love 3DG when Adam's there, not because Matt are not good enough, but Adam's voice went the soul of the band, so powerfull, but Matt are doing a good job too...

I grew up with 3DG, I even have a portrait of Adam tattooed on me with his lyrics helping me through some very dark times. At the same time I listened to Matt's band My Darkest Days and loved them as well. When Matt first took over it felt like My Darkest Days and not 3DG so it just didn't feel the same. Matt has now been able to make 3DG his own with the rest of the band still keeping the same vibe

I love this band!! I have every single album and I can't wait for their next album that's coming out in May I believe!! You should listen to The Abyss by Three Days Grace that's there previous album. It's by far the best in terms of Matt being their lead singer!!

I was at Matts first live show right after Adam left the band for transit of Venus. It was sad because so many people were chanting we want Adam. yes at that time he wasn't as strong as a front man for the band because they had a issue with meshing together because they didn't have enough time to practice.( they still did a stellar job) but i have seen them a few times since and they are so good live. i think matts songs are more powerful on feelings though then the statement peaces where i feel Adams lyrics were dependent on.

I enjoy this band a lot!! Been listening since they came out! Loved Adam as a front man. Matt is great too. Definitely found his grove with the band! Back in 2006 They actually played a free show on base in Sasebo Japan!! It was amazing and just a blast. After the show I asked if they wanted to drink and see the night life. I got drunk with Adam!!! Pretty awesome..

three days grace has always been my favourite band, the mix between Adam AND Matt makes this band EVEN better for me, though I still will always enjoy Adams music more, I think matt is really amazing at keeping this band alive, which is why it is still my favourite band over all the others.
