You can manually do it in the menu settings, just make sure the device is not recording to access the menu. If I remember correctly it also auto set the date and time when I connected it to the app.

No, it auto changes unless you turn off that setting.

Can you hook the back camera to your back window and plug to device I had it professionally hooked up where I didn’t need the plug in to the lighter so it still records when car sit do I have to use the red wire

The back camera has to be hooked up to power somehow, which is what the red wire is for. So if you can access power you can put it anywhere you want.

@@PUREreviews Not true. the camera works fine without the red wire, the red wire can be hooked up to the backup lights and then the camera will automatically switch to rear camera view

Ok, so i currently have installled. I want it to continuously record but it looks like only records in loop. If i have loop OFF is it recording non stop? If i am driving and witness accident or something that was seen by cameras, do i need to power down so it stops recording and hold file until i can get sd card to conputer? If i do the 5 min loop howany of those will be able to hold on sd card? Or does it just erase and records a new 5 mins? Any help wouod be appreciated. I saw someone hit a dog and i know it was seen by camera, just dont know if it was recorded.

It always continuously records as long as you have the room on your SD card. The loop feature will erase the oldest footage when you run out of memory, otherwise it will stop recording. If the camera detects a bump or crash it locks that recording so it won't be erased, but I always suggest just taking out the SD card to make sure. If you see an accident and want to save that footage you would have to lock it in the settings or just take out the SD card so it does not erase. The bigger the micro SD card though the longer before you run out of room.

@@GobravesOO I think it can go upto 64GB. With your settings you need to manually format the SD card. If you turn on the "Loop" it will record over the old footage when your SD card fills up.

U can hook that up to your rear lights. When u go into reverse, it activates the rear camera as the main one. I, however, did use that feature.

I formatted the included micro sd card via the camera but the camera still says to format sd card. So I formatted via my computer and that did not work either. Help.

The date and time can be adjusted via the menu settings. For deleting the SD card you can either reformat it via the menu or put the SD card into a computer and manually delete the videos that way.

@@PUREreviews which button is the menu or setting? I’ve been trying to find it to change the time and format the SD card. When I deleted the videos with a computer it gave a an error code when I inserted the SD card back into the camera stating I needed to format the SD card. I bought a new SD card and it gave the same error code about formatting it. And I’ve been pressing all the bottoms to figure out how to do it and I can’t find the settings or menu. Please help.

Once it has power, yes it start automatically recording. It does not record while the car is turned off unless you buy the extra power adapter that uses your car battery

This is correct. For the rear camera you have to connect camera to power like the plate light or tail light.

You can only access the menu when it is not recording, so make sure that is turned off.

It says it has parking guidelines, but I didn't use the rear camera...which is why I didn't show that footage. I think the guidelines are always on though, you would just have to cycle to that camera in the settings.

The easiest way to me is to pull out the micro SD card and put it into the computer. There will be a photo folder and video folder for each camera

The read camera can connect to your rear lights so it knows when you are in reverse. This is optional though

The red wire is what gives the device power. So the idea is you hook it up to a tail light or your license plate light depending on the location you mount the camera. The black cable has to be run all the way to the dash cam itself. Hope that helps.

Hi. Just got my cam and set it up I did not connect the red wire for the rear cam but I can see it is on with the front cam on display. My question is will it record all 3 cameras? @@FUELEDmag No sure as my rear camera would not turn on without the redwire being connected as that is how it gets power. The device will record all 3 cameras and if you take out the Micro SD Card you will see three folders, one for each camera.

No, you can just plug it in and use it. I find the easiest way to see the footage is to just remove the micro SD card and view the videos directly from that.

So I have had many cameras. The ones that I like have an app. The app actually lets u sit at home and watch what it has recorded during day.. This would be an Amazing Camera with an app…. It’s 2023 everything has apps

How do you keep the camera running continuously? I don't understand how if you are driving it is able to record a crash if it only pops on here and there. I see that the red light goes on but the screen will be black. Also I have a Jeep and I can't mount the rear camera on the back by the license plate because the spare tire will be in the way. So I mounted it on the top of the light on my spare tire. But it's upside down. Is there a way to fix this flip the picture or do I just remount it upside down? Thank you!

The screen auto turns off so it is not distracting, but it should still be recording. You can adjust this also in the settings. In the settings you should also be able to adjust the rear camera...I think it is called mirror or flip.

Too bad the camera takes such a large power adaptor; takes up the cigarette lighter which powers my phone and my Amazon Echo. This is a deal killer.

How about some step by step instructions. The info that came with the cam is so small u can read it. No help at all.

the dash cam can not record 3 channels at the same time at all, poorly made the camera, has poor instruction, and poor video quality. Have to say you got what you paid
