@@SeasonEvergreen I was at an expo where he was doing signings and asked him to draw Jose Carioca for me and he expressed how much he loved working on the Animation for the ride

I can't decide if I like the animatronics or the animation. One gives more of a classic Disney ride feel while the other is more cartoony.

True, but I feel like the finale wasn't as big as it is now with the Animatronics. The whole ride is with them in Projections, Animatronics really make the finale special and is something worth looking forward to.

A nice thing that i had an idea, sometimes the animatronics start to breakdown, so when they have to be repaired, they use this animation for a backup, that could be nice TAKE THE HINT DISNEY LOL

Yeah when I went last year they had NOTHING no animatronics or the screen lol just some nice flowers in big pots but the music I think was still there.

As much as I love the animatronics, this scene was comedy gold and made the attraction. We need it back!

They back for ducktales and they have a own serie now call the legend of the three caballeros

Will always prefer this ending. No animatronic will ever match the frantic, surreal movement of this sequence, perfectly matching the bizarre energy of the original film.

I LOVE this! The animation in this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and fluent. I’ve only seen videos of this ride, but now I want to ride it! The animatronics are good too, but this is GOLDEN. It’s animation at its finest.

I tried making a story about the three of them once, it took place in Mexico, and it was supposed to tell how they were really poor and didn’t have much, then, once they started the group, things started getting better for the three of them and they became really popular.

a ride breakdown at the gran fiesta tour is the greatest thing to happen! cause you get to listen to the song over and over! heaven

I wish they kept this, it matches the overall aesthetic of the attraction better, the animatronics just feel like an abrupt change from one type of ride to another and it just doesn’t feel right

You're right. The ride's animation was created by Walt Disney Animation Studios with Eric Goldberg directing it. Warner Bros. Animation, Yowza! Animation, and Mercury Filmworks provided additional animation for the attraction.

bro these guys deserve more attention, that’s why they need their animation back. The animatronics break often.. especially José- and also you know, the animatronics are kinda boring... I mean panchito is just tapping his foot and waving his guns in the air and Jose is just strumming the guitar, and Donald is just shaking his maracas but the music is still there so I mean it’s not bad. But with the animation there is so much to look at and brings more life to it and I feel will attract guests of all ages especially younger kids. Also with covid here, the line to that ride... HOUR WAIT OR FRICKIN MOREEEEEEE- THAT RIDE NEVER HAD A LINE AND I WAS HAPPY THAT NO ONE WENT ON IT BECAUSE ID HAVE IT ALLL TO MYSELF AND ID JUST SING THE SONG HAPPILY- LIKE BRUHHHHH sorry about that😅 it’s my favorite ride at epcot, I can’t wait to take my cousin to Epcot for the first time and you better believe where we are going first😏😏 and if that ride is still around when I can get a job, (soon) I will try my hardest to get that animation back. It wont take much convincing because i hardly doubt they threw out the video, and the animatronics are old and I feel I make a valid point. I cant make promises, but I really wanna work at Disney and I guess that’s my first mission!

Both of the animation and the animatronics are a treat.

Who also was watching the new ride and saw this and couldn’t resist clicking on it from childhood memories

I’ve watched this so many times on repeat i love it so much 😭😭 I hate it so much that the Three Caballeros are so underrated! There’s so much potential with them especially considering their role in Disney history!! I really hope we see them more in the future!
