That was Swami's stern statement to Dr. Venkat Sadanand as He made him wait outside the interview room for nearly an hour! The scientist realized that, unlike in science, in spirituality, it begins with faith! Instead of "Seeing is Believing", it is "Believing is Seeing". In this talk, he shared his personal spiritual journey through the 3 'bus stops' of Faith, Surrender and Prayers.
An established professor of Economics at a Canadian university with numerous publications to his credit in Engineering, Mathematics, and Economics, Dr. Venkat Sadanand turned his career completely around on Bhagawan’s guidance.
Dr. Sadanand is currently a Neurosurgeon at Loma Linda University Health System. He was Senior Consultant, Department of Neurosurgery, at Bhagawan’s SSSIHMS in Whitefield, Bangalore. Dr. Sadanand is also chairman of the Information Technology Committee of the Sathya Sai International Organization, a member of the Sathya Sai international Medical Committee and of the Sri Sathya Sai International Intellectual Property Committee.
A tribute to his dedication to service is the Medal of Honor he was awarded by Mother Teresa.
