Jus for the record, not all tires are made equal. Venom tires that say they’re 35s can actually range and where from like 34.4-35.8. It’s jus the way tires are made that make them slightly off what they said. I think venoms more commonly are bigger then 35s even if they say it, white brand I believe like nitto run slightly larger or slightly smaller. So that can explain the 1 inch different. Also she quality, torsion keys, and lift parts in general can jus add one extra inch.

The wheels are making the black f150 a little taller. I made 22's fit on a 3 inch lift and it makes it look like it's a 4 inch lift

That's weird the abyss truck rubs on the front...mine is a 6 in and I have 20x12 _44 and doesn't even come close to rubbing the front bumper..my tires are 35.4x12.8

@@KickinItWithQ yes sir For work I started it with roughly 2000 Toyota tundra 200,000 mi 2008 Toyota tundra another 160,000 mi roughly then I made the move 2014 F-150 EcoBoost fell in love with the motor and the truck quickly started rusting badly FX4 really nice truck recently traded 2018 15,000 mi totally different vehicle maybe 2-in lift fuel rims dual exhaust Just put on JLT oil separator as in my other truck other one emptied every second fill up so far a couple thousand miles nothing in the can wondering if it's just the newer motor or something wrong maybe you know

Do different brand lifts run taller then others and is then a major difference in ride quality cause I’m will to pay more if it does I got a 2016 ford f150 2wd I want to lift but don’t want the rubbing

They are Anzo headlights

The wheels make the truck taller because the hub is bolted higher up on 24’s than on 22’s.

Hey it’s Jr (aka Yung_Hefty) y’all talkin about trimming/turning, what’s crazy is I’m leveled on 20x14’s with -76 offset and I get a full turn. Trimming is NEEDED 😭. And man you had the 24x12’s on a 7in lift, 24x14’s on a 6in lift, and the 20x12’s on a 6in lift, but you were missin me with my 20x14’s on a level 😂

I’m not sure what you mean by “stay in alignment “ but my truck naturally pulls to one side now with the lift kit I can’t remember which way but I usually get an alignment once or twice a year. Also I rotate my tires every 3000 miles and I balance every 6000

@@KickinItWithQ i have rotated every 5k, but i have been needing an alignment like every 5,000 miles… when you drive straight down the freeway, my steering wheel hangs down to the right side, my steering radio controls are about in the 11 oclock position. Im going from 22x12.5 and 33 up to 35s in a month or so, the shop is retightenting all of my suspension… but the alignment slipped on a trip to oklahoma came back and the front 33 were worn down on the outer edges…. Hence why new tires coming, just curious if its something you are dealing with

I Personally haven’t done it but I know a lot of guys who have so you should be able to. If it still rubs after, you’ll have to do some trimming

I have 22x12 with 35x12.5. I trimmed some and still scrub. I’m afraid to cut too much on the back side of the fender. I have the 2” front leveling kit that I put on before the lift. I’m wondering if they will have issues realigning the front end, and I will also need to see if I can add a 2” block to the 6” rough county that is currently on it.

Its because Black truck has 24s and the Grey one has 20s, 20 to 24s for lifting the truck higher, it will raise it by 2 inches

1) yeah my truck is a pavement princess so I also have a 2wd 😂. 2) And at 14:50 actually 2wd’s are better for towing, and have a better tow capacity. Really 4wd should only be used off-road.

@@rollingprobablecause19 there’s really 3 exceptions to use 4wd on the road 1) if it’s icy and you’re pulling someone out of a ditch 2) if the roads aren’t cleared (which is basically off-roading if you’re driving over 3ft of snow) 3) 4x4 launch for drag racing. And the only reason we’d need to use it on the road in Texas is for racing. Thanks for your input though…

I just picked up a 2015 F150 with 60,000 miles. It’s a cab and a half, red like yours with knock off rims. Definitely going to go with 12 wide not 14 wide.

I need to know, especially driving 14 wides, don't y'all get pulled over a lot? I live in the north and I really want 14 wides my concern is I'll get pulled over a lot and if I have to get smaller tires then i wasted $ on the 14s. It's illegal to have exposed tread. But if you have mud flaps or flares maybe they let it slide. But guys driving with 14 wides no flaps no flares, how?

@@trainhandler9580 possibly Bro it’s generally the width, for example 14 wide versus 12 wide so the wider, the wheel, the more rubbing will likely occur, but honestly Bro the best way to go about getting rid of rubbing or scrubbing, is the trim and cut

I'm on 14s rn I've had to change the hubs abt 4 times it's horrible 250 each and they drive like crap don't recommend unless ur buying all aluminum

He's rubbing b/c of his aggressive offset, with 6" if he didn't offset so much he wouldn't rub.

Mine would look perfect in that lineup. I got the white with all black no chrome anywhere. 6” with 20”/12.5 35s Looks almost the same as y’all’s just with the white on black. Would make a great pic. I’m down in east tn

The tyres hanging out further than the car panels looks really dumb lol. ONLY because if you actually wanted to go offroad it would be bad You want your truck to look tough but you want it look like it could actually go offroad not ONLY look cool on the street.
