I've sold the Tuff brand before it was pretty quick too, its a western brand but has a large following.

Thank you! For me sometimes it sells fast and other times it sits. I haven’t had any in my inventory for awhile though to be honest.

Did you know that Zappos for Good will send a free label for jeans to be sent in for recycling into insulation and things like that? I've ordered this box before and done that with items that are too flawed for Goodwill.

Oooh no I did not know that - thanks for sharing! I will definitely check it out. I hate throwing stuff away just because I think goodwill would just throw it away anyway.

I mean, technically, the Levi jeans could still have a size in them, because I know that usually they put the size on one of the tags associated with the material… It’s usually like the last tag underneath. Not to say that this one had it, but I do know most Levi jeans have the size in a second place.

I double checked, all of the fabric content tags that are usually underneath have been removed, unfortunately.

I recently ordered the smaller 30lb box on Jan 27th and received it last Friday and I had used a $20 credit I had from sending in a box of clothes that sold. Like your box there are many I just couldn't use because of either heavy stains or rips or just brands that don't sell well, or very little. I did sell a pair of Citizens of Humanity, and this box had Madewell, Zara, 7 for all man kind, 501 button fly jeans and a pair of shorts, everlane, etc.. I have quickly sold just 2 pair and already recouped what I spent and the rest is profit. I am not sure if I would purchase another box. Thanks for the informative video. I got the email, but they always do it on Saturday mornings and that’s when I teach Zumba, so I always miss it! I could try later in the afternoon but I dunno it probably is picked over by then.

LOL are you talking about where I said that half the box is usually not useable? It's the truth! I guess I was trying to be realistic and not set myself up for disappointment lol

the anna sui looks like it will pay your box off if it sells for the sold comps I see. I love TU rescues. I also love to sell to them still

@@Ohyeahrachie ya I think there might be a better chance to get good items because now you have to PAY to get each item back and no one wants to do that lol so if it expires into the rescues it goes. I dont know if thats what they do or if they just keep the profit but I have good luck with TU

That's so true. I think the last time I ordered them I got a whole box of brands they dont accept (forever 21, old navy, etc) so I have always been afraid that will be what they send from now on. This box gave me hope!

Wow!!! ThredUP every now and then comes through. Amazing box! Curious - do you do Plato’s? I feel like you have told me, maybe none super close? Bc mine would have taken all that forever 21 and Zara, MNG, etc. And check your OUAC - one of the three locations near me will take up to size 25 of jeans in their older girl section.

I have a Plato’s kinda sorta close to me but every time I have tried to take stuff in there they pass on everything. My OUAC doesn’t take kids or teen clothes. They sell size 0 but rarely take it from me. It just doesn’t seem to be worth my time to drag the baby out to these places with a huge bin only to get nothing out of it.

hey, rachel, I just got my BBTB women's j crew/madewell denim box and everything was madewell but 2 jeans (out of 20) were men's- did you get any men's jeans in your box? I have a few men's madewell jeans already and they haven't sold and they don't seem to do that well. I'm thinking of emailing them but I don't really want a credit because I hardly ever buy from them. They're both the Athletic slim- one is 33x34 and the other is 34×34. They don't appear to have the worst sellthrough rate on ebay and the comps are listed pretty high. So I'm not sure if I should take the chance and keep them or ask for a return/refund. Every time I take the chance and buy from BBTB I remember exactly why I stopped buying from them lol. When I got their Ted Baker box I got items with holes and all they wanted to give me was a store credit. Also you mention Zara in your video and I actually like selling Zara jeans as long as the COG is low. It sells well in small sizes.

I got one pair of men's khaki/chino pants and one pair of men's j. crew factory jeans in my last box. I have not listed them yet but I personally don't mind getting the men's items. If you do feel like emailing them I would encourage you to do so. They are super quick to reply and provide a solution. I had that same issue with the Ted Baker box, one of the jackets had a hole. They sent me replacement pieces, but it's possible that at the time you messaged them they didnt have any more in stock. Thanks for the tip on the Zara! I just opened the box yesterday (video coming soon) there are a few pair of jeans so I'll definitely make sure to get them listed. The ones from this video just sold yesterday too!
