Oh for sure!!! I can assure you they were NOT all like this haha. BUT I have never been burned on a 200 pound order when you look at it as a whole. I would never get just 50 or even 100 though. Bc there are always dud boxes which makes no sense bc they come from the same warehouse on the same day. But that is thredup.

This was a great box! Yay for hill house, that brand is on my bolo list! Parker and Joie are so expensive but I can’t move them! The bst store takes them any time I bring them to them! Great video!

I’ve always thought the 200 pounds are so much better than the 50 or 100. You will see why I say that in upcoming videos. Not all 50 pound boxes are created equal.

The only time I have ever oredred this box was last spring & it had a mix but mostly H&M & Forever 21. Thankfully what i did get from BST & what I have sold so far has almost paid for it. Not sure if I would do it again even on sale. It's funny when your husband was looking at the 8 boxes, the look on his face.😂

They are definitely a gamble and I’ve had some not so great boxes for sure, but in general the 200 pounds has never let me down as a whole.

Maybe! I’ve seen a few others unbox who ordered the same day as me and seems we all got a little bit of the same brands nwt - the banana republic and j crew and loft. Just super weird they didn’t keep it on the site! Not complaining. But I assure you not every box is this way 😫😂

I wonder too!! I think I can safely say no other of the 8 had this much NWT though. I think that person worked one day and then I had someone else filling them lol.

My go to is always an overnight soak with powdered oxi clean. I use an entire scoop in a 5 gallon bucket and just cover with water. Then wash as usual. If that doesn’t work nothing will. For that particular shirt - there was some other weird stains and unfortunately they didn’t come out.

Yes, definitely better than a yard sale. I take items like you saw in this box there and average around $3.50 per piece as my return. That is worth it to me when I am paying $1-1.50. Of course higher end and designer items would pay out more for you. I would totally try there or style encore before a yard sale. You wont make more than $10, maybe $20 at a yard sale. In my area anyway. Thanks for watching!!

You just learn them as you go! Shopping there and then watching other you tubers. It’s impossible to know them all as so many come and go but there are lists you can search up too!

Hi! It’s meant for babies - the brand is Lalabu. They are quite expensive but lots on the resale market! If you want one with sleeves it’s technically their mens. The women’s are tank tops. Yay for coming home!!!

have you got really bad boxes from threadup and end up losing money? if so how often?

Oh if you go to my thredup playlist you will find some terrible ones! But for me - the good greatly outweighs the bad. And even this 400 pound order, one box might have been terrible but another will triple my money and then some. Buying rescue boxes isnt a one time profitable thing for me. I look at them as a whole. I will say ThredUp is the ONLY company I continue to order from after pretty terrible consistent boxes from other companies like helpsy.

That same double order thing has happened to me after I have gotten the same error message. I just kept both also. I do like getting the $200 lb box. i have always done very well. Sometimes I have to wait a season to sell the brand name jackets, but it is well worth it. The other weird thing is that I feel like the clothes they have listed on their website are mostly ugly and very plain overall. But they are giving us brand new tagged quality items in the rescue boxes. It makes no sense at all. I honestly would never send my own clothes into Thred Up anymore. I will keep buying the bulk rescue boxes.

Yeah it boggles my mind why so many NWT items are landing in these!!! Not every box, but a few and definitely others I’ve watched! I agree it’s a cost effective way to source same as the bins.

Right you can’t use coupons - they have been randomly running rescue box specific sales.

I cant find any 200lb rescue boxes on threadup. i only see 50 or 100 lbs. Am i missing something?

I’m not sure why you would say it’s a waste of money? These bulk boxes are huge money makers for me. I’ve never had one where I have not profited several hundred dollars. Most of the time I make all of my money back and then some simply by taking items to the bicycle trade store, not even counting what I keep to list on platforms. This was only one box out of the four for the order. You have to look at the entire order as a whole.
