Thousands of Crickets! High Desert Mormon Cricket Migration

Here in the high desert of Western Colorado, we have the Mormon Cricket migration each summer. This video shows just a small part of what that's like. Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and Nevada experience this at different levels through the summer months. Anabrus Simplex is the fancy pants McGee word for these creatures.
