Yeah but I personally feel like, he would be able to leave the throne and wouldn't be screaming in pain. As he wouldn't have ripped open the web way and ruined the wards. So he could literally have Ahriman and his bois man the chair the cock pit so to speak. And the rest of his legion to some degree, spread amongst the web way just always tending the wards etc. Magnus was sooooo key :(

The thousand sons really have a touching and tragic story. They wanted to elevate humanity with knowledge. Yet they were burned by the ignorant too afraid to see the light. And magnus is one of the best primarch simply cause he couldn't condemn his sons when the emperor asked him. In the end they were not traitor, they were the betrayed. Betrayed by the emperor at nikea, betrayed by russ. Betrayed by humanity who hated psyker, betrayed by the imperium....

what irritates me the most was that leman disobeyed and ignored a direct order from the EMPEROR and instead decided that horus’ order to kill magnus was instead the order to follow, he didn’t check why horus gave him the order, he didn’t stop to consider that maybe the emperors orders were absolute and he didn’t stop to consider that it was suspicious that horus wanted magnus dead. but no, he just wanted to kill the psyker, get it over with and go back home to fuck his chihuahua.

and do you wanna know the worst part? the absolute worst part?? primarchs…. are supposed to be the smartest things created from mankind. they’re supposed to know everything, or at least have a very good understanding of every concept, every skill, and every trade, and yet, they are dumber than even the dumbest human beings when it comes to their actions…

Horus was the Warmaster and greatly beloved by all Primarchs. I think most of them took his word without a second thought. Not to defend Russ, I am a Thousand Sons player

@@ramonserna8089 neither legion were available to do so, and Leman had a history of dealing with other space marines (see his role in the purging of the 2nd and 11th Legions from the Imperium’s official history)

At long last, I'm happy that you're covering the Thousand Sons, so underrated.

How did you not mention that the emperor offered to forgive magnus on terra, and magnus wanted to accept but the emperor demanded he abandon the thousand sons so he refused. Such a big point to miss

I'm not sure if any Space Wolves fans feel it, but there really is little way to argue that Leman Russ was gunning for the TSons to be executed. My Bois just out there using their Papa's gifts, and a bunch of space furries called them cringe and not very awoo, demanding them to be cancelled. Yeah, they turn into bird monsters every now and then. But the legion who turns into literal wolves and have communion with warp entities don't have much ground to stand on here. Magnus did nothing wrong!

The Thousand Sons were by far one of the most powerful legion and their psykers power were rival to none and they were warrior scholars who perhaps been a shining beacon on how humanity future can be molded, but their only weakness was their arrogance and pride that they alone understood the powers of the warp and that nothing can threaten them in the immaterial.

Very good narrated videos. The effort is very much noticed throughout. What I like the most about your style is ending the videos with the beautiful "The Chapel" song from Dawn of War 1 (for when a video about the origins of the Blood Ravens, and Angelos too?) as you narrate the epilogue of the current theme, for then dropping the content of the next "transmission".

Amazing video and love the lore of the Thousand Sons and Magnus. They are the force i would least like to fight due to no real counter to Sorcery and Psychic powers unless you are Custodes working with Sisters of Silence.

The artwork is gorgeous and the 1000 sons have style. Each one is unique and usually extremely powerfull. They must very fun to draw. You can not draw a 1000 sons Space Marine without making up the entire background life story for them. The Corvide should be bffs with the Blood Raven, BTW.

Looking for a new chaos army to build so thought why not the Thousand Sons……I’ve always admired the Magnus the Red Model & have an already impressive.Plague Marine & Nurgle Daemon army built but unpainted & just as impressive Black Legion army….for the emperor I’ve got an ever growing primaris only 2nd company Ultramarines & possibly Fulminators, Adepta Sororitas, Ad Mech & finally……. A sizeable Cadian army…..I just don’t think I have the space to build my bombed out city battlefield. Once built I wanna put a glass case over it…….

Magnus did nothing wrong and Big E is a jerk. Also small correction the first 1000 marines were not made on the moon but on terra well before the conquest of Luna

Ngl, I like the thousand sons, but they are the embodiment of the saying :the path for hell is made of good intentions. Magnus was an idiot and he lead his Legion to ruin by meddling with powers he was so arrogant that he thought he had mastered them whereas he was just a tool.

I think Tzeentch is redundant. Maybe these videos would change my mind, but I still don't know why Astartes would follow Tzeentch instead of literally anything else. What good is knowledge if it has no practical applications? Knowing isn't doing. That's why me and my homies praise Nurgle, God of not giving a fuck.

So he could power the golden throne for eternity? What a fate.... Magnus was created with limitless power via an attachment to the warp with the intent to be the focus for the golden throne, allowing the terra webway portal to remain stable without the intrusion of the demonic legions. This connection is what fuelled his desire to understand the warp, he never knew his destined role. Irony that it was this connection magnus broke in warning of horus' betrayal. Magnus chose choas out of betrayal against him, his legion and glorious home planet. Had it not been for tizca and the perfect city monarchia (word bearers) the heresy probably wouldn't have happened, and russ or alpharius/omegon would have purged Angron and Mortarion...

It's a shame they won't exist anymore in 10th, but gw has said in the past they never wanted them to actually exist outside a chapter that got obliterated in the HH.

Magnus did everything wrong.

One of Magnus' biggest problems was that he used the powers of the warp so liberally thinking that there would be no drawbacks or that the denizens of it having nothing but altruistic intentions. The very definition of naive.
