I 100% agree with Victoria when it comes to sending money to Samoa. We grew up with so many of our traditions already being instilled within us that supporting our elders financially is something we THINK we NEED to do. I'm all for respecting our elders & supporting them when asked but having to help the sister, the brother, the nextdoor neighbour, the uncle of the aunty you've never heard off in your entire life, then thats gonna be a problem 🤷‍♀️ People in Samoa can't just sit around & expect to call family in NZ or Australia everytime money is needed. Lae kele maumaga i Samoa o e kokó le fa'i kokō le kalo ma o e faakau le makeki! Leai se mea e maua ma se filemu. What people don't realise in Samoa ia that everything here is Money, power, house, e oo a le alu le 🚽 ole moneeeeys lol This may be a sensitive topic when it comes to couples esp when one's parents reside in the islands. I also understand where Osi is coming from because my husband thinks exactly the same 🤦‍♀️ Again in saying that, theres no problem in helping WHEN YOU CAN!!! Sometimes you just have to agree to disagree, I mean i said what i said soooooo 👀😂

Hi Osi & Victoria, there’s so much that I want to comment on. I enjoyed the video. There was laughter and hunger watching the carbang, but I started to cry at the thought of what happened to your dad. 3 days, with no one to help and feeling stranded at the airport. I watched a Tom Hank movie last week about him being stranded at the airport… But you’re right Victoria, God, truly covered and blessed your dad, with a good wife and loving kids. That was so sad.. I couldn’t focus after hearing that.. your poor dad.❤️ Ia Alofa tele atu i ou Matua. Fa’afetai mo le tou alofalofa i lua matua. Osi, Sa’o lava oe. A matitiva gai aiga i Samoa, alofa iai. That’s why God, sent Victoria to you Osi, because she’s a good and caring wife. And your guys heart, is loving. May God, continue on sending his blessings to you both and your families. ❤️❤️

I agree Victoria we need to have a personal relationship with God, to have a fruitful garden we spend ample amounts of time for the plants and flowers to grow. I believe we’re all guilty and it’s not a matter as you say to just pray before you eat, we need to pray all the time, read the bible because faith comes by hearing the word of God. Sometimes I think we’ll Im not sinning so I’m good but we never earnt by our works our salvation, it was a gift freely given. God created us to glorify him and sometimes I think us humans are so undeserving, I call myself a believer but then I pray when I need something and I just think God is so merciful and forgiving. I sometimes get angry if a driver cuts me off whilst driving and find it hard to forgive, yet I’m still forgiven by God for all the things I do every day. Imagine God is waiting for me to pray to him or read his word but instead I pick up my phone to look at nothing again.... I treat God like a box and open the box when it’s convenient for me and shut it when I don’t need God. My mum she is always praying every day, reads the bible very day and is just an inspiration for me. We all get caught up in so many worldly distractions and I guess personally I need to take a step back and understand what actually is important in our one life God has given us. Xx

To be honest I agree with Victoria on this one. But just to be clear when it comes to the biblical side of things, Victoria & Siosi are now ONE since they've been married and I get that it's a personal walk with God and all, but when you're married NOTHING is personal between a Marriage anymore. Everything should be laid out on the table and worked on. Marriage is a beautiful thing, but it's even more beautiful when a couple is honest with each other progressing and moving forward. Anyways love you guys videos and been a fan since day☝️ Peace and love. 🙏

Legit your story reminds me of how my mum came here as a refugee from the Cambodian war, the part where your dad was waiting for someone for 3 days legit made me cry 😭 because my mum fled from the red army and had to hide under passed bodies and my grandmother at the time told her to meet at this certain tree near the Thai boarders, and my mum waiting for 3 days as well! And no one came, but eventually she walked and found some people that helped her escaped 💔 I was born here in Victoria too, but most our childhood was in commission housing and living with random people, and I look back and see how far we all have come! #stayblessed!

Thanks for another great video 👌🏻 sending money to Samoa is such a sensitive topic to people who grew up in the island life. No matter how many times you try to explain to them that its not a MUST when you get a call or text from the fam in Samoa wanting money they’ll never get your mind set and vice versa. So its just a learn to agree to disagree thing. Im all for sending money to help out, but when it becomes like every 2-3 week, or even weekly thing thats a problem. Especially if they demand an amount. I agree with Victoria, ill help but i also expect them to help themselves and help you. A loving parent/s shouldn’t make their child be in debt or struggle, especially if their child/children has her/his own family to support. We all have goals to achieve too, feed & clothe our kids and ourselves, buying a house, getting an education, paying bills, paying off debts & etc but we cannot achieve that if we’re constantly sending money all the time. I just read the correction of the question, yeah id rather upgrade the house and all. We all want a good house for our elders in Samoa, just like the houses we live in in NZ/AUS, and good furniture/bedding etc. Cos one day you’ll also go to samoa. Our generations growing and having our own families, so youd want to upgrade things for your fam in samoa so that when you take your kids to Samoa they have a nice big house to sleep in and feel safe. P.S i can imagine how many times you guys had to cut out your disagreement moments editing this video hahaha crack up 😂 Love you guys! Keep em videos coming

Loving the content and the authenticity of your guys video !! I personally agree with Victoria and how there is so many distractions nowadays. Personally having a close relationship with God is through his teachings and word, reading them for comfort, motivation and also to understand more ! And ofc prayer 🙏🏽. We can go on with the day and say we love God but tend to do things that are far from it. Like what Luke 6:46 says “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?”. I think I went too deep but yeah just got me thinking ! Love your guys videos !! Keep them coming ✨.

SEND THE MONEY TO YOUR FAMILY IN SAMOA IF YOU ARE ABLE TO! LIKE WHAT VICTORIA WAS SAYING, I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE EVERY FAMILY MEMBER LIVING AWAY FROM SAMOA CONTRIBUTE A LITTLE BIT OF A PERCENTAGE TOWARD TAKING CARE OF THEIR FAMILY, VILLAGE AND OUR COUNTRYMAN NO MATTER WHAT! It's hard for us to fathom what is was like for our Parents when they were living in Samoa but one thing I know for sure is that none of them would have not been able to move overseas without getting help! WE NEED TO GIVE BACK NO MATTER WHAT!

I love you both and our stories are very similar. Yes it’s true that family is poor but I totally feel you Victoria on this one. There should be a limit, cause the honest truth Samoa people don’t understand what budget is. If you say no, there will always be a way to try and get you to send money. We got 6 kids and now, looking back. Hubby was so caught up trying to help his family out of poverty. We didn’t have a plan for our future. Better to set yourself first before reaching out. Cause a manuia oulua e manuia foi aiga I Samoa. The extended family lol I love my husband and don’t regret anything just the financial hardship we had to endure for to please their needs and wants is on another level.

We need a story time with your dad. Also, did you find out who's been cutting your flowers? I agree with you. Just like any other relationship, you are close to someone the more you communicate with them.

100% agree with the relationship part. Can you imagine if we treated our loved ones/spouses the way we sometimes treat God? We'd all be divorced 😂. Checking in only once a week or when we need them etc. Growing ANY relationship is spending time with each other, building that bond, conversing, getting to know etc. Despite all that, the Lord is so merciful and gracious 🙌🏽. Still no luck with the gardener culprit but I did go out to find dog poop on the plant yesterday 😒. Literally, just planted on the bed of flowers!

I really enjoyed this video of yours, from your mukbang, looks so yummy to the common topic of sending money home, its a Pacific Island expectation and ritual and its a universal debatable topic that makes for an ethical discussion. I agree with Victoria in that apart from your helping your parents and siblings, I draw the line with extended family, you help when you can afford to and also if they help themselves. Siaosi has a point that our blessings come from our parents and thats a given to help them. I love your chemistry when it comes to christianity topic, its a sensitive point that can be amusing, annoying and frustrating. I love that you make it real, not trying to impress but being natural!

Definitely read that question wrong but its ok cos it was abit vague😂 meant upgrading THEIR furniture/rennovating their house and getting them in a better situation household wise more than just sending them money, insta polls dont have enough characters to enter that long as question lol ☺️ appreciate the answer anyways!🙌🏽💯

Awwww sorry 😞 ! Well if it still counts, I would opt for upgrading the furniture. Osi just said he would do the same. He's been wanting to send over new furniture for awhile cause everything there is so expensive. Our interpretation of your innocent question has opened a can of worms that seem to have ruffled a bit of feathers 🙊

I don't think you can judge someones walk or journey with God. To me that's personal and only God knows someones heart. But you can't sit there and say no don't lie when was the last time you opened a bible? I could tell Osi getting frustrated and i was too. Love watching you guys always just my 5c that noone asked for. ✌

Totally agree with you. But its only cause I know my husband and I know how we once were spiritually, both individually and together as a couple. Not proud to say it but as of late, other things have just taken over our focus. Of course i didn't say it to judge him but just trying to be real and say we could do better.

@@SiaosiandVictoria to be honest I agree with Victoria on this one. 🙏

The truth is real too, you cannot give what you do not have. This is a biblical fact, give according to your surplus, if you have none, makes no sense to give and you have bills due,. You don't want to feed the needy and then you are the needy, the balance is necessary. We are in hard times all over the globe 🌎 world wide economic crisis.

But then again i agree with Victoria. Send money when you can and what you can afford not going overboard or to someone who is just expecting you to send money. Because they too tend to take you for granted lol

Siaosi is right....u don't need to open the Bible nor go to church in order for u to be close to God..u just have to believe in him and say a little pray in ur heart that's ur time with God. Everyone is different...God loves everyone no matter what. Bless
